And of course I'm also worried about THJ's level… like all the MFFLs I guess. 🤔

The small ball lineup with Maxi and PJ… What was the opposition? Were they playing good against the Pistons or the Nuggets?
I don’t think you can just look at the numbers without their context.
I worry with small ball giving up o.reb (kleber is not a good rebounder). Mavs need to secure every stop they can get with those rebounds.

Sorry to burst the bubble guys, but I really don't think we have the depth of shooters we did when we went to the conference finals.
If Kai or Luka miss so much as one game, I don't see this team winning if even one of them is not on the court for extended period of time…
The Mavs are so reliant on Kai playmaking, and Luka Playmaking without one of those two the offense does not look good!
Look at the last two games vs Detroit and Thunder, the worst basketball I've seen in years…

The conference finals team won 3 games without Luka against the stacked Jazz Team!!!
Defense though is way way better then the western conference team, way more athletic defenders, DJJ, PJ, Lively, Gafford, Green, we just need Exum Or Hardy, or Green to step up as that third scorer playmaker because we would need Third Scorer and Third Handler.

With the spacing that Luka and Kyrie provide they would benefit from a more consistent 3pt shooter lurking around 40% from 3pt. If that shooter can decently defend, it'd be a big plus.
I do want a third scorer. In the offseason I hope the resign DJJ and then find a way to trade Tim, Hardy, Green, and/or Maxi for a guaranteed 20 pts guy that creates his own buckets to give Luka and Kyrie rest.

No Timmy. Mavs have absolutely NO NEED for this negative value player. After trade, team chemistry changed dramatically. Tim is not there. Team is now filled with winners. Tim shouldn’t get any playoff minutes. Tim was good when Mavs were desperate, when they had little talent. Mavs need a 3 rd playmaker -> EXUM!

What Mavs need to face the Clippers? The Mavs need a healthy Dereck Lively who can play the entire series against the Clippers
I don’t think the 3rd scorer is going to be a guard. I feel like it’s going to be Gafford only because his size and athleticism against Zubac is a big difference. They can literally lob the ball to him constantly and he will be able to grab it over Zubac easily.
