  1. I wouldnt want the heat. Anyone but them. Yes we can beat them but are we escaping that series fully healthy? the trend is concerning already. The heat lead the league in the past 3Y in injuries caused in the playoffs (someone on reddit painstakingly went through all the playoff series in the past 3Y and tallied all injuries/re-injuries and the heat lead the league by a mile). they just play an unsafe, physical, dirty brand of basketball. I dont want to ruin our chip chances due to a major injury gotten while playing the heat.

And the heat are consistent. IIRC the heat have caused a significant injury (read rotation player) in 10/11 playoff series they've had in the past 3Y.

Maine up next. Win that chip Queta for Mike! Lets go Celtics! Thank you Mike!

  2. there's still a chance that the Chicago Bulls beat the Heat and advance into the playoffs. Would love to see the Celtics face the Bulls in a first round match-up. The Celtics handled the Heat in the regular season comfortably, so there's nothing to be worried about such a match-up. Rozier might be out with an injury and the Celtics have a much better team than previous season with the additions of Holiday and Porzingis and way more depth (Pritchard, Hauser, Horford, Kornet). I am pretty relaxed.

  3. I love the Timberwolves, but meeting with the Suns in the first round is the worst outcome for them. They would have been better off meeting the Nuggets. There’s always next year assuming this ownership dispute doesn’t destroy the team via cheap-skating the roster.

  4. Do people forget that Miami almost let the Celtics come back from 0-3? It took JT hurting his ankle and JB playing his worst game for them to win. Why are people so scared of Miami?! Smh

  5. If we get to beat Miami in 4 or 5 games in this first round, this will give the Celtics the biggest confidence boost to steamroll through the rest of the conference and make it to the NBA finals. Gimme Miami; I just want to put them out their fkn misery.
