Why hasn’t Embiid dominated in the playoffs?

  1. My guess before watching the video: he relies on foul calls and the playoffs are all about less foul calls and playing big minutes.

  2. embiids struggles were maibly due to the lack of ball movement in the offense doc rivers ran. which caused the sixers to be unable to punish double teams

  3. So much useless propaganda in this YouTube section from people who didn't even watch the video. Little brother syndrome from some very specific fans…

  4. I remember how crazy folks told me i was 5 years ago when i said id take Joker over embiid any day of the week. The problem with Embiid is he hasnt been in shape. Thus the multiple playoff injuries. I dont know what great player has had 5 different postseasons with nagging debilitating injuries but im prepared for it to be 6 even if they beat Miami in the play in. Same guy who was eating Chick-Fil-A before the games a few years ago. He tantiliizes with his talent but the best asset for any player is availability. He doesn’t have it. In spades. Trust the process lmao

  5. Just wondering how the graph at 9:22 isn’t misleading. The gap on the bars between 67% and 69% seems totally disproportionately large compared to the difference between 61% and 67%, or 59% and 61%. Am I just seeing things?

  6. If im not mistaken, embiid has literally never been through a postseason ever. He always has an injury/health excuse. So if the knee is good enough, he will hopefully play better this postseason.

  7. I can’t wait till every Embiid hater eats their words this playoffs run. Nick Nurse has taken Embiid and this Sixers team to new heights. (The season record reflects on Embiid’s missed games). Majority of the people in these comments haven’t watched the Sixers much if at all, and it’s very obvious

  8. The last two years, Embiid has gone from 12 FTA in the regular season, to 9 FTA in the Playoffs. He also went from over 30 PPG in the regular Season, to 24 PPG in the playoffs over those 2 years.

How many FTA did Jokic have last year, when he dominated and won the Championship? 7 FTA. And that is his career postseason high in FTA. All while averaging 30+ PPG in the playoffs for the last 3 postseasons! (up from regular season avgs of 25-27 PPG)

Embiid consistently plays worse in the Playoffs. Joker consistently plays better in the Playoffs. They are not the same. It's almost like they switch places. Embiid gets his stats in the regular season, and then trails off in the playoffs. Jokic is great in the regular season, and then takes it to a higher level in the playoffs.
