Honestly this is exactly the motivation we needed for Steph heading into the post season. We know he’s the petty king. I hope he’s legit steamed about this lol

Edit: I checked this myself. Someone correct me if I’m wrong. Stephs FTa were 324, at 92.3% thats 299? If he had made the technical FT against Pels that’s 300 for 92.6%… and then if he had just made 1 more in a different game he’d be at 92.9%. Two free throw makes and Klay doesn’t beat him lol.
Klay has always had a bit of a blemish in his splits with free throws. He’s obviously a good free throw shooter, but less good throughout his career relative to the other GOAT shooters. Glad he got this on his resume now
