I think the obvious answer is Vassell, who is clearly the 2nd option.
It could be Pop, for giving us all mini-heart attacks all throughout.
I’m just gonna go on a limb and say Bill Land, for all that he has done for the organization. I hope to see more of him next season.

Ooo, I like. My vote would have to be Sochan. Sure, he didn’t put up as many pts as Vassell. But he was a hell of a sport for taking the experimental-pg position in stride. Even after all the trash talk he must’ve gotten wind of, the dude kept his head high. (Yes, I know this ain’t no good-sport award. But it’s hard for me to resist)

I’d say Tre Jones. The Spurs were 17-31 in games he started. Compared to 5-29 when he didn’t. I think they started to look much better when he took over the starting job.

Tre Jones for me, dude did nothing but try his hardest and step up, and was a major component of our offense finally clicking down the season.

A couple of people have already said it but Tre Jones, he really elevated our offense and just visually the team looked a lot more comfortable when he took over pg duties

Sochan.
Guarding opponent’s toughest assignment on a daily basis, no complaint. Taking up playmaking duties for the first time in his life, no complaint. Being 2nd, 3rd, 4th banana on a young team, no complaint.

It’s Tre Jones, and it’s not close.

I’m a big fan of our biggest players but yea Tre showed up for us every game, with or without the others. He didn’t always put up an awesome stat sheet but his presence paid dividends for the everyone this season
Hear, hear, Tre! Bravo, can’t wait to see u back again reppin the Silver and Black

I think most would acknowledge Vassell as the 2nd best player but I’d argue our 2nd most valuable player is Tre Jones and I’m not sure it’s even close. Our season is as transformed when he got put in the starting line up.
