about the raptors pick, although i agree that next season will have more talent, i think the best option is to get the pick this season because nect season it might end up being a worse pick like lets say a 13th pick for example or even worse, it might not convey at all and turn into two second rounders. I dont think its worth the risk

It's a draft with hidden gems in my opinion so it doesn't matter to land a high pick because most teams will draft poorly and miss on the best players in this draft.
Spurs need lottery picks to be good. Wemby is a bust.
Unless they make a trade I dont think that a play in game next year is realistic in the west. it took 46 wins to be a play in team in the west and next year you will have not only San Antonio but also Houston and Memphis(possibly Utah) competing for a play in too. Spurs won the same amount of games with Wemby as they did tanking for him so I dont know how they could more than double their wins next year.
Its cool you were able to do the mental gymnastics required to convince yourself that winning 7 of the last 10 games was worth falling from best odds to "never happened before" odds, but everything you said they "accomplished" in that win streak would have still been accomplished if they lost those games. Even if you don't like the talent, the first or second pick is a better trade asset than the 5th or 7th picks. This just makes whoever they would trade for more expensive.
