not a clippers fan so very curious, he’s definitely getting his jersey retired right??

    What a career!

Bro if it weren’t for him I wouldn’t watch basketball and I wouldn’t be a Clippers fan. I owe it all to him.

Helped put the Clippers on the map to the status they’re now. Much respect to his amazing career!

Just in time for the new arena opening, would be a good time to repair relations with him…

Salute! Clippers legend Blake Griffin getting a statue next to the Clipper Legend Boban next to the Clippers Legends Jamal and Lou Will. All behind the next chapter of statues Q Rich, D Miles, L.O, and Pooh Richardson.

  6. Damn. Favorite Clipper of all time. Was the guy that got me into this sport and stayed a Clipper fan since then. Hope history remembers him fondly

  7. Likely gets his jersey in the rafters next season. Wasn’t a big fan through all the whining and the disappearing in important games but he was a major reason the team is where they are today. Thank you Blake.

  8. I’m a Clippers fan because of Blake. The team should waste no time in announcing his jersey retirement. He gave his all to this team and the team we see today would not have been possible without him.

Easily a Clippers legend. Don’t care what anyone else says.

I really wish he could’ve come back for one last year with us. My favorite player ever. I wish this organization handled his trade better.

We got a lot of new Clippers fans during the Blake area. I was at the games where he dunked on Porzingiz and Glen Davis. He was a great Clipper, and his number should be retired. Days after Blake got traded, I remember being at the game, and we were losing, and this little kid yells out, “we need Blake!”.

Wouldn’t be a Clippers fan without Blake, I still think aside from prime Westbrook & LeBron prime Blake is the most exciting player to watch over the past 20 years

My first nba jersey, and the reason I’m a clippers fan to this day. Thanks u BG

Despite how things ended, he is still the single most important Clipper player of the last 30 years. I’ve been a fan of this team before we had BG and obviously after, and no one player has had the impact for our franchise that he did. We can debate who is the “best” Clipper player ever all day (CP3/Kawhi/BG/etc.) but drafting BG was the turning point for this franchise and put us on the path to becoming a premier destination in the league (along with Ballmer ofc).

I really wish he could’ve won a ring to solidify his career, but no one can take away the impact he had for what was once considered the worst franchise in all of sports. I really hope his jersey is the first one that goes up at the Intuit Dome. Maybe recent fans will disagree because we never got past the second round in his time here, but long suffering fans know that just making the playoffs was a huge accomplishment for our team.

Thanks for the memories Blake! The best Clipper to ever do it. Can’t wait to see 32 up in the rafters at the Intuit Dome.

Put his jersey in the rafters and get him a statue. There are/will be better players than him to play for the Clips, but there is no more important Clipper. Without him, the team is probably in Vegas or Seattle. Clipper Legend

  16. Favorite Clipper ever.

HE was the one that changed the fortune of this franchise after his record setting rookie year.

Stars wanted to play with him (CP), the league started to pay attention to us, and he was the main driving force of highlights on YouTube and social media.

GOAT Clipper, and we need to hang his jersey up in Intuit EXPEDITIOUSLY.

  17. Without Blake, the Clippers are not where they are today. Thank you Blake! For all the memories!

This man helped make us a relevant franchise for the first time ever. He made being a Clippers fan fun. Thank you so much Blake, you will always be loved. Happy retirement.

The man who kicked off my fandom of this team 😢 Thank you some incredible dunks that completely blew my teenaged mind. It was a privilege to watch him live on television; you never know who he’d put on a poster next.

    Enjoy retirement BG 💙❤️
