So Howard is just gonna ignore how good their defense has been post trades?
Mavs were ranked 7th in defense (based on defensive rating) since the trade deadline (and excluding the last 2 games of the season that no one played)

Damn, sounds like buddy hasn't been watching the Mavs. They have had a great defense since the trades. These national media guys always think they're smarter than the average joe but never actually watch games unless it's a Lakers game.

Mavericks are a real threat .. if Luka jus does what he always does and Kyrie can give u 25 shoot we’ll those 2 are good enough to will them at least to West Finals .. Things will be vital to them making it far like Lively/ Gafford Duo.. Then there other guys PJ Washington , Hardaway , Hardy, Jalen Green will have to collectively dominate as a bench .. to me there jus not there yet but once they get a legit 3rd guy I’m ok granting them finals threats .. but they will beat clippers in 6 games .. and then beat OKC in 7 games putting them against Denver in west finals where I think they lose in 6

If part of my job was to conduct a podcast reviewing each NBA playoff team, I’d take at least an hour to research them. Your take on their defense just screams “I don’t know what I’m talking about”

I hope the Clippers have watched as few Mavs games as the guys. The Mavs are an excellent defensive team since the trade deadline. These 2 watch highlights and look at end of season stats. That's it
I’m never gonna get this time back. How do you not mention Mavs being one of the best defenses since the trade deadline and in the last couple months during their win streak? They were a bottom defense and are finishing 18th because of how good they have been. The Clippers and Lakers are 16 and 17 and you won’t hear the same concerns about their defense. Also, not only is the Mavs roster different now, but their team wasn’t healthy at all during the regular season when they depended on a 19 year old rookie. Just lazy takes from these guys and Howard looks like a hater.

Mavs are the #1 defense in last 15 games not counting the two games they rested and Howard is like, “the Mavs defense is the questions as it was last year.” Come bro!
