  1. There goes the season……i don’t think i can even watch them against the Kings

  2. ToothEducational7795

Just when you think it can’t get worse, it continues to surprise you. From having the homecourt advantage against the Clippers to potentially missing the playoffs with your best player getting injured.

  3. stoolieny

Please give Hawkins minutes. There’s always that chance he goes off and change the dynamic of the game. Sucks he hasn’t had real minutes in months though

  4. asapshrank

We’ve beat the kings without zion (and by 30) this same season, but it’d be hard to even get excited about that when you know he won’t play against OKC. just a brutal situation all around.

Hoping it’s not like last season where it cut into his offseason and made him start the season out of shape though. If Zion has a full healthy offseason I’m still optimistic about the pels next season

Can’t say it doesn’t fucking hurt to get the rug pulled in the final hour though

  5. Fuck man, as a basketball fan, I was enjoying seeing Zion erupt night after night.

I was rooting for you guys to win yesterday against the Lakers. Guess we’ll see you again next year.

  6. SkepticalHippo93

    Re-evaluated in coming weeks… fuck.

We shouldn’t have been playing that game. 5 straight losses at home, all those blown 20 point leads, the complete lack of a single 4th quarter come back. If we win just 1 game we’re not even playing Sunday – and he has a full week of rest heading into the playoffs against the TWolves.

  7. Julep2005

Of course they don’t even say what’s going on, what does coming weeks mean? Game to game or done for season? They didn’t say two weeks like normal but idk if it’s because of playoffs or more hope or what. I’m just so sick of this curse. Even if we win we get to see a rusty BI, an ice cold CJ, and Larry Nance eat all of JVs minutes. I’m just tired man.

  8. Own_Barnacle_8242

Really going to miss the playoffs with 49 wins

  9. pittyspray

Just when you think it couldn’t get any lower than last year then they become the first team in 50 years to win 49 games and miss the playoffs or getting sent home in 5 games without Zion playing again.

    This franchise is cursed, man

  10. Gamez6444

I’m not even worried about the playoffs, I’ve already gotten over that. I’m more worried about him getting an offseason being injured again. He finally took his conditioning and game seriously and now he’s hurt. I’m worried he won’t be able to work and he’ll come into the season terribly out of shape again.

  11. Hope he’s doing okay mentally. Been waiting years for this type of opportunity & he rose to the level of play he’s capable of last night. This fucking blows man

  12. Potential-Highway606

He’s out for the season. Even if they beat the Kings they’re going to get swept by OKC. This team is fucking cursed, god damn man

  13. Dazzling_Street_3475

Zion has only played 184 of a possible 410 games. Let that sink in.

  14. thatwhitegu

He is out for the season. Just like last year

  15. JayDogon504

Evaluated in the coming weeks prolly mean it’s over for Zion unless we make round 2. We just saw how much longer the timetable was for Ingram post that “evaluation” smh. Fuck it tho, WE BALL!!!

  16. Sayntsfan21

Pretty sure CJ will stink it up again and BI will just come off as not giving a fuck. While Larry just looks lost.

  17. Aggravating-Lake-717

    Hamstring strain

    It’s not looking good man

Rest up big Z. Heal up

  18. Panhandle_Dolphin

At some point, his extreme talent can’t make up for his routine unavailability

  19. This shit truly is cursed man.
Like I get having bad luck sometimes or a couple times but shit like this is legitimately EVERY DAMN SEASON regardless of who’s on the team. Shit is wild.

You’re already kind of holding your breath every year just hoping “maybe not this time”…and we FINALLY got through the regular season with a majority “normal” year, now this. Shit just doesn’t make any sense bruh.

  20. LookLikeUpToMe

Sucks. But hey fuck it. Let’s go show the kings who is daddy one last time.

  21. the_cream_dreamer

Pelicans and the “re-evaluate in 2 weeks” what a duo

  22. Infinite_Response113

Kings dumbest team in the league, blew like a 6 point lead against the Suns with less than 1:30 left, now they get the most insane luck and just so happen to play us without Zion even tho they’re 0-5 against us. And some of them clearly happy in their sub that Zion’s down.

I hope they get swept 0-5 and blow it up and send Fox and Sabonis to the East, we’re too stacked anyway in the West.

  23. lordlanyard7

    I feel good.

This could have been way worse.

And let’s get real. We can beat the Kings without Zion, and we actually match up really well with the Thunder.

    There’s still hope.

  24. NOLA_504LA

Zion has to understand with his style of play and how explosive he is he has to stay in shape year round. He can’t take half a season to play himself into shape because that takes a toll on his body. But I doubt he will ever have the discipline to do that. I was shocked at how bad of shape he allowed himself to get with the way his last season ended.

  25. 2010whodat

Great 2 injured Stars and a 3rd that more streaky than a 4yr olds underwear.

5 wins over the Kings this season in dominating fashion just for the one that counts to set up this way. Being a Louisiana sports fan is brutal.

  26. JB_JB_JB63

49 wins and no playoffs most likely. Team with a worse record gets in. I’ve never liked the play in and I fucking hate it now.

  27. MznNazzy19

It’s great that fans giving him support and look forward to his future as a Pelican. Although, everyone was praising BI when he carried the Pels against the Suns in his first playoff experience. Not to mention all the time that Zion was injured. Now people turning on him so quick. How unfortunate.
