This has been basically a cash grab by the NBA owners I don't think this was a good idea whatsoever I'm a traditionalist so I think they should have kept it at seeds one through eight resetting adding the 9th and 10th seeds for mediocrity basically for the teams that didn't have a winning record at the end of the season to get into the playoffs.
