I don’t think they actually did a scope like he and the giants fan are reporting. I think he just met with a doctor to see how it’s doing and to discuss off-season plans for repairing it.
Scopes are minimally invasive surgeries but they still knock you out a few weeks minimum. The incision is small but it needs to be wide enough for the tool to go in there which is about the width of a pencil.
No way you’d come back to play 4 days after having a surgery like that.
