  1. Helin dismisses the Wolves for being "young" and then proceeds to list off vets Conley, Gobert and how Ant has had his moments in past playoffs (KAT has played in 16 playoff games, BTW); how the defense "travels"; and then talks about the current ownership situation like that has any effect at the player level (smh)…Just a lazy, typical, pedestrian, uninformed "tow the line" standard take on the Wolves.

Wolves are 2-1 vs Denver (Denver's only win – by 3-points – was a game Gobert, Anderson and KAT sat); 2-2 vs OKC; holds tie breakers against both teams; has a better division record and Western Conference record than both Den and OKC; AND a better or equal record against teams above .500. Minny gave Boston (and Denver) their first loses of the season; went to OT twice against Boston; and has been in or near 1st place in the WC all season. Minny matches up against Denver better than any team in the NBA, even won a game against them last playoffs missing Reid and McDaniels, in a series Denver players even said was their toughest test in last season's playoffs.

Gobert will be DPOY and Naz Reid will likely by 6MOY. But, sure, let's keep talking about Denver and the stand-by, play-in fossils LAL and GSW.

  2. MVP is a more civilized conversation because Philly fans aren't involved. Discourse became toxic due to the media and Philly fans over the last few years and last year it hit its pinnacle. Embiid not being eligible simplifies everything.
