Anytime before when a 2 vs 7 seed played it was automatic 2 seed would win. Now it's load management and good teams become the 7 or 8th seed.

I think with Randle and whole team healthy we could have won whole thing this year with ease. Almost don't want that without Jules. I'd be fine with wupping up on all and going down in 7 in OT on road in Finals. We would have easily won 55 if not 60 w/out injuries to Randle, OG and Mitch. Bridges is as perfect of a fit as OG. 3 way trade with Nets and Cavs sending Spider to Nets and Cavs getting 4 #1 picks could/should get it done. We'd have both best starting 5 and 2nd unit in show. Josh and Dante would be co-6th men still getting 25-30 minutes and with Precious super solid backing up Randle and Bigs when needed getting 12-15 min like Deuce as 9th and 10th guys its a recipe for non stop assault at both ends relentlessly. No one ever having to play more than 35 min keeps team healthy and even more ferocious on D every game. 70 win dynasty for years roster! I'm 64 yr old passionate Knicks fan – this is best Knicks team since 73. Biggest difference is this team is younger , and deeper than 73 team certainly if with Bridges. Best coach since Holzman and with that just insane/elite/remarkable out of ordinary chemistry!!! All for one and one for all mindset! All just the highest character guys fully locked in. Sat night gonna be 19,800 setting new decibel levels at MSG! It all started with Tibs and Randle, the two who have earned as much respect as any – and get the least somehow from own fan base is sad. Jalen vs Clyde 1 on 1 or in a game would be epic, but Randle would destroy 8 x All Star, 2 ring wearing Dave DeBoushere. The guy refuses not to improve game every year doing whatever is needed to win. Now with all surrounding perfectly matched pieces in place and not having to play 40+ min every game always doubled when with ball, (not an easy task for such a big body even of his elite conditioning) was having his 3rd and best All Star year now at prime at 29….. Julius Randle is going to go King Kong sized Silverback next year. Jalen is the head of snake, team leader, floor general, but Jules is team's big brother and as loved by team mates as any! They are all great guys on and off court. Nothing not to love about this team. Haven't had such feelings since I was 13. GO KNICKS!!!!!

In order to be the best you have beat the best theres no way to avoid top notch competition in the playoffs. Its gonna be much more satisfying beating the joel embiid lead 6ers rather than a jimmy butlerless heat. Ducking competition for easier matchups is a weak mindset we believe were better than the 6ers and we dont have to prove it we want too.
