The human foot is tough, but not meant for the pounding of a heavy 7 foot body running and jumping over multiple 82 game seasons. Many don't last long. Dudes like Shaq, Tim Duncan, Kareem and others who have long careers with relatively few injuries are amazing.

This is another year that isn't Embiid's year. Tbh, I think he'll eventually win one like Dirk did.
