Tomorrow’s headline: Darius Garland’s face has been broken by an inadvertent elbow during practice.

It’s good for them imo. Not ideal if a freak injury happens but there’s no better way to get prepared for a slug fest matchup this is going to be. You don’t want finesse against the Magic, you want to beat them at their own game and outmuscle them. Would go a long way for this team.

Honestly, they needed to this sooner. Not all season, but they should’ve practiced harder sooner, maybe I’m some spurts, during the all-star break, in season tournament etc

Yeah. Maybe shoulda started that a little earlier.

As long as no one gets hurt, this is exactly what this team needs.

This is a new one! Training to be though guys lol
You have it or you don’t.
Choppybitz
Shouldn’t they always be doing that?
lagrange_james_d23dt
Honestly this is what they need. NY did it all series last year, while the Cavs just took it.
BrownsFan2323
Embarrassing that they’re not simulating this as part of normal practice
calvin2028
This feels like an admission of how unprepared they were last year.
Better preparation to toughen them up for the playoffs is to convert the practice facility into a Slamball court.

Team is soft, we know this.

I hope he wore football gear to practice

Those Orlando magic play an old school type of ball, resembling the New York Knick’s in the 90’s and boy you better be ready. Magic are a slow pace team, don’t shoot the 3 particularly great, in the bottom tier I believe so middys , layups and dunks is how they’ll get most of their points

The playoffs are almost a diff game
The way I look at it is the refs go back to the late 90s in terms of physicality allowed

As long as no one gets hurt, not a bad idea.

Good idea to start getting used to it now
