For the love of God, I hope we don't run it back as is. We've got a good samp size of what we have. It's not very good. Or is that the plan to be terrible another year?? Sigh.
I believe the Spurs will be a 30 to 40win team with the main cast back; we need a veteran or 2 for good veteran leadership. These guys showed vast improvement over the last 20+ games…they finally look comfortable in their team play..it takes a while to gel with new guys, especially young guys in the NBA…..don't give up all their good draft capital for example: Trae Young…not worth it…
They need to trade Keldon, he's dead weight.
Wemba wants to start winning asap! Don't be surprise if Spurs start signing super stars because of the Wemba effect.
There is no reason to pay big money for any old veterans like Trae Young or Chris Paul or Klay Thompson. Roll and grow with the team you have a build through the draft like they did around Timmy D. Why break the bank for adding an expensive vet for 10 more wins. Look at OKC and the Magic. Just young and good and developing. Spurs are on that path and one or two great all-star type draft picks in the next two years and the Spurs will be right there with OKC.
Edey is the draft I want to see provided we can get him.
