IMO it’s either gonna be him or Ant. Whoever wins a ring first. Tatum is the better player but imo Ant just has that Aura needed to be the face of the NBA. That moment with KD in game 1 solidified it for me

Ya the guy that went 1-8 from three…

Tatum is a boring player who lacks charisma. He’s more the next Melo than the next MJ/Kobe/Bron.

I don’t see how it’s not Wembanyama, he’s easily got the highest ceiling of any player since LeBron, and he’s not disappointed at all so far. Let’s not forget how good LeBron was by his 3rd year in the league. Wemby time is coming faster than people realize, even his sophomore season could see him as All NBA.

There’s a lot of young talent out there, so it’s hard to say. Not likely that any Boston player becomes face of the league, the team is too polarizing among NBA fans even if it’s a respected franchise. Sports fans in general are still kinda sick of Boston’s 21st century success in major sports.
But I don’t know, it could happen if the team itself develops a certain charm and wins a couple of chips. Tatum is just entering his prime years.
