  1. Kobe did the same thing, studied pierce for his longectivity

But Lakers fan said Paul Pierce was a bum? 🤔

  3. Harden took pierces foul baiting and made it his bread and butter. Pierce would do it like once or twice a game

Pierce is a legend. This is not surprising, nice to hear though

believe it or not despite his accolades and top 75 i actually think Pierce will become one of the more underrated players of his era. not here, we are obviously obsessed with him in Boston and have been for three decades, but outside of Massachusetts he doesnt command nearly the respect for his all time status from your average “informed” NBA fan as other players on a similar level to him

Keep saying. Pierce in today’s nba is a 6-7 James Harden that plays D. More of a scorer than passer. But imagine those 3s and all that space for him to operate.

He forgot to mention him studying his tactics with strippers

Kobe and Manu are the other two. Interesting since he really copied Manu’s game and took it to it’s logical conclusion. Same with Pierce, too. If Pierce and Manu played today they’d probably both be taking 10 threes and putting up 30+ with eight rebounds and assists, running pick and roll all game

  9. More guys should model their games after Pierce tbh. He had tremendous footwork and knew exactly how to get guys off-balance to create separation. Used his physicality to his advantage despite not being a super athlete.
