Miami Heat: Stupid Boston narratives (Scalabrine, Perkins) & more before Game 2 | Five on the Floor

Ethan Skolnick, Greg Sylvander and Alex Toledo have had enough of the Boston-biased media’s talk about this series. They discuss the dumb comments from Brian Scalabrine, Kendrick Perkins and others — and Alex gets in a little basketball talk.

  1. @Ethan came through with the content, thank you guys!!! In my busy work week you guys are my go to content, I appreciate everything you guys put together.

  2. I do not think Spo ordered a code red. I think Martin did the dirty play all on his own. I reviewed the play without bias, Holiday pushed Caleb but Caleb already had momentum and then lowered his shoulder and went straight for Tatum and not the ball. So I agree Scal should apologize to Spo. I also think Martin should be fined, not suspended.

  3. For the Past Two years I’ve been getting to the Heat games by parking in Dadeland Metro south and taking the Metrorail to Brickell station and switching to the Metro Mover until Park West on NE8th St and NE 2nd Ave a block from the main entrance to the arena. $2.25 per person each way and $3.75 parking $13 total and it’s actually faster than driving in and driving out of down town. I’ve timed it and it’s about 20 minutes each way +- 3 minutes. My girl and I get there early, walk around after and get a snack so we don’t get the crowds on the metro mover. You can do the same from north Miami but idk the stations. For less than parking in Bayside or the Kaseya Center it’s a far more pleasant experience.

  4. As a Celtics fan, I have to agree with Ethan. I was one of the many that initially thought it was a dirty bush league play (although I know Caleb Martin to not be a dirty player), it took me bout 24 hours to collect my thoughts together and come to my senses, and not be emotional about it. And it’s just bad timing and unfortunate uncontrollable momentum of the body contact, so I’m more relieved that Tatum got up and was good to go. But let’s just keep it pure clean basketball. It can get chippy, as it always has been, so I anticipate it to still be a competitive 4-5 game series.

  5. THAT'S WHY IT WAS CRAZY, THAT YOU GUYS WERE SAYING THEY GOT WORSE, ADDING PORZINGIS… THAT MADE ABSOLUTELY NO SENSE… HE TAKES THEM OVER THE TOP…
