I’ve been watching that play over and over again, Jrue did push Caleb but Caleb already had momentum and had his head down and shoulder down and was heading straight for Tatum and not the basket or the ball. Spo did not order a hit but Martin was too reckless not dirty but reckless. So no suspension is ok but the Cs should respond. Maybe a Hard Hard foul or 2.

Yall can be Naive if u want but I believe Caleb had some malicious intent on that reckless non-basketball hit on TATUM.. This not his first nor second time injuring or trying to hurt JT .. If he’s the same player that keeps attempting to hurt Tatum or Brown over the past 2 years how can anyone not realize the Heat Plot to down one of the Celtics Superstars

The hit was simply a hard playoff foul. That being said it was absolutely unnecessary with the score and time left in the game. Caleb better have his head on a swivel the rest of the series, meaning the next 3 games.

Martin could have remained forward if he was really making a pkay for the rebound. Instead he flipped around, guaranteeing he wouldnt be able to see what would happen in an obviously dangerous situation. He even stuck out his but guaranteeing Tatum took the brunt of the contact while he himself was protected as much as possible.

at no point were Jrue’s arms fully extended. at no point was Martin off-balance. watch it in slow motion & u see Caleb’s arm was fully extended behind him as he took TWO STEPS before diving right into Tatum with his shoulder making no attempt at the rebound. it was Martin who pushed off Jrue to get separation.
