Albert Breer: Patriots “unlikely” to trade down in NFL Draft | Sports Sunday

Albert Breer and Greg Bedard join Mike Felger on Sports Sunday to discuss what they’re hearing about the Patriots just a few days out from the 2024 NFL Draft. Will they take Drake Maye with the No. 3 pick or trade down?

  1. Felger is stupid … they never said they were committed to anyone . They like both but they would be willing to move off of the pick . What’s hard to understand about that .

  2. Hey NBC Sports…you just lost another dedicated viewer here when you continue to put Felger on. He’s as negative and as nasty as it gets here in Boston. And one of the problems why the media is regarded so poorly when people outside of Boston talk about them as a whole. Bravo…keep it up and maybe all your viewers will look elsewhere for their football coverage

  3. I’m fine with Wolfe saying he’s open for business at 3 as long as he doesn’t mean it, unless it’s the biggest bag in history, multiple first-rounders for years. Otherwise, why stay in this loser pergatory that we have been in, and will be in.

  4. Use your brain; the Patriots are acting like they want Maye so that they get better trade offers.
How do these talking heads keep their jobs?

  5. I’m with Drew 100%. Maye is the likeliest hit on a franchise changing QB. He’s the only one worth trading up for. The probability of one franchise QB in 1st round is low, let alone 2.

So I think there’s wisdom in trading up for a can’t miss WR (Nabors or Harrison Jr).

I recognize there’s trade offs. But Darnold is decent. With these weapons and line, maybe spectacular. I think there’s less risk drafting Harrison Jr or Nabors & rolling w/ Darnold than betting on any of these QBs to be what they must be: franchise altering. Nabors/Harrison Jr instantly makes offense scariest in NFL. If Darnold fails miserably, it’s one year. What elite, established QB wouldn’t want to come to MN then?

  6. Felger is a jackass contrarian. Unfortunately he is coopted into more reasonable and educated debates for the sake of clicks…

  7. I hate when felgar says it's the third guy on TV or radio that's all I hear it's the 3rd guy but yet he likes penix who is the 5th guy and who has had 2 surgeries on the same knee and also had an injury on his non throwing shoulder twice and he isn't even 25 yet, the guy is the Greg oden but of football

  8. The fact that the Patriots are considering trading the pick to me shows they aren't all in on the available QB's who could potentially be there. Unlike the Bears and Commanders who are convicted in what they want to do at picks 1 & 2. The Patriots are coming off as unsure and don't quite have my confidence. It's looking messy early on. When Burrow was available in his draft the Bengals wouldn't even entertain calls on the pick. The Patriots will be the team in the future having to trade multiple round 1picks and players to move up to draft the QB they hope to get. Just take the QB!

  9. “So why are they taking calls?” – Felger
“Cuz they’re not stupid… (like you, Felger)”

    I’m paraphrasing. 😇

  10. I dont like felger as much as well but truth is truth an hes not lien at all if u are 1000 percent sure about life in general but football talk a player no matter what hes right u do not take calls at all only reason you are is because theres a good enuff doubt in all the players and what your gonna do sorry cant have cake an eat it in the real world u gotta pick an with conviction if not trade down not that hard to understand

  11. That’s crazy. Maye is a bigger guy with a bigger arm that excels at attacking the middle of the field. He’s built better to play in the northeast.

  12. Anybody else see Bert Breers hard either spit or piece of food shoot out of his mouth at the word specifically? Haha

  13. The bone head with the glasses is a complete a-hole. Taking a shot a bill for being on the pat McAfee show?! For what.. Yhat has nothing to do with the draft pick topic. What an idiot 🙄

  14. Felger is just a moron… of course you collect all the data you don't want to tip your hand. Why do they still give him talk time

  15. New England Patriots go for Mccarthy or Maye and pay up for Elite Weapons all around Pay Up Robert Kraft and Kraft Family Pay Up EW and Mayo pick for elite qb ….
