A bad shooting game after a week off? Sure. Exposed? I seriously doubt it.
Tonight will tell I still believe the Mavs defense was overinflated the last 20 games they had were against none credible teams minus the win vs Denver and Miami the rest of those teams were play in teams Utah , Portland, etc so yeah they got exposed
Cowhered is spot on in this one. If you dont defend then the roster has to be built to cover you on defense.
Now asking for 4 elite defenders that can also play offense is basically asking 4 superstars.
this is even more pronounced with luka as he's a ball dominant offensive player. What's the point of puttinf 5 guys that can handle the ball when luka is gonna need it 90% of the time anyway.

Kyrie Irving is 5 times better defender then Luka. Luka doesnt even follow attacking player , Harden passed him like he wasnt there. Clippers all game plan was going at Luka maybe scored 70 points on him. Kyrie fights as hard as he can on defence. Such in ignorance saying Luka can defend

Mavs are nothing but question marks. Luka lost Porzingis, Brunson, and now can't win with Kyrie. The rest of the roster is also full of unproven talent. The mavs were overrated going into the postseason

As a Mavs fan I'm pretty hopeful this is a huge overreaction based on one game where the Clippers couldn't miss (over 50% on threes) and the Mavs couldn't buy a shot (8 points in a quarter is crazy.)
