  1. Unless the Jazz get lucky and move up Donovan Clingan will be gone before they get to pick at 8. Here are my preferred picks at 8 — Stephon Castle, Matas Buzelis and Ron Holland. (I think it's quite likely Castle will be gone too by the 8th pick.) At 29, I like Tyler Kolek. In the second round at 32, I want the Jazz to take a chance on Dillon Jones or Dink Pate. If you don't know who Dink Pate is. He played for the G-League Ignite who just folded. He is seeking a waiver from the NBA to enter the 2024 draft because he is only 18 years old and is therefore ineligible for the draft. Jones — from Weber State in Ogden, Utah — is the more complete player, but Pate has enough upside potential to warrant taking a gamble on him if he's able to get the waiver. Honorable mentions: Isaiah Collier, Cody Williams.

  2. I do not see why the Jazz pick another big man at No. 8, they need wing (especially with Defense ability)

  3. Matas or Williams. Matas reminds me of a young Gordon Hayward. Castle won't be at 8. Clingan is a bad man who wouldn't be the worst pick ever.
