  1. My girlfriend asked me what I wanted from her tonight and I said “Nuggets vs Lakers”

She smiled, cause she knew I wanted to be dominated

  2. ComfortableOven97

DLo is Minnesotas revenge for LA stealing the Lakers.

  3. KarchunToo

Watching the Nuggets face the Lakers the last 11 games is like watching slightly different plots, something spicy every now and then, but the ending stays the same

  4. Both_Funny4896

Who’s ready for Lebron’s fake retirement announcement this Saturday? 🧹🧹🧹🧹

  5. MakeAShadow

Just saw a bunch of Lakers fans fall to their knees at an In-N-Out.

  6. Sufficient_Motor_458

The L-L-L-L-L-L-L-L-L-L-Lakers are in basketball purgatory

What’s the consecutive record for one team losing to another team? This has got to be up there

  7. The play that perfectly described tonight was during the non-Jokic minutes in the 4th. AD gets the ball on the block and 4 Nuggets swarm to him, leaving all of the other Lakers wide open. Nobody else was a threat. AD is playing his best basketball since the bubble and his best teammate is a geriatric that gets tired easily and spends more energy arguing with the refs than defending

It’s also fun to watch both sidelines. Malone is yelling at the team if they fuck up one defensive possession. He’s telling guys how to move defensively on most possessions. Ham is just doing nothing. When the Lakers fuck up on defense, LeBron and AD find someone else to blame. AD looked away and let Jokic blow right by him, then AD yelled at Prince after the play.

  8. 2holesinbutt666

The Lakers now up a commanding 3-0 lead in the 1st half of the Series.

  9. Someone really said “there’s no way these nuggets could sweep the lakers again” after the first quarter

  10. Mahatma_Gone_D

Never seen team come out hot and ready for revenge every game just to be out of breath and as useful as garbage by 4Q.

3-0 moral lead tho. GG LLLakers!

  11. AceMcStace

Lakers have a lot of work ahead of them if they want to make this a more competitive sweep than last year

  12. Palifaith

We are about to get swept by Denver in back to back post-seasons and I solely blame Wemby for robbing them of the 1 seed.

  13. jeric13xd

Felt like we’ve all seen this movie 10 times before 🤣

Nuggets just own the Lakers 🤷🏽‍♂️. Better team and better coached. They will out-execute your team to the ground.

“I’ve been dominating the season all year, so for me to have a game off when everyone is watching, of course it’s going to be magnified. You see what I did the second game, and I’m looking forward to doing it the third game.”

  16. I want anyone visiting this thread in the future that didn’t watch the game to know – it *absolutely* wasn’t this close

  17. suzukigun4life

33 points in the first quarter.

60 points over the next 2.75 quarters, until going on a run in garbage time to make the margin look respectable.

Ladies and gents, your 2023-24 Los Angeles Lakers, in a borderline do-or-die game at home.

  18. Let’s be honest this game was over when the Lakers beat the Pelicans

  19. This Denver team is just incredible man, what can you even do when Gordon is putting up 29?

  20. Did AD forget his afternoon nap? Jokic reading this mfer like a book w/ these cuts LMFAO.

  21. thedisasterofpassion

BREAKING NEWS: President Biden unveils new plan to balance the federal budget, “Just bet it all on Denver when the Lakers are up 10 in the first half.”

  22. nguyenjitsu

1 assist away for a good game, is Jokic WASHED?

  23. You can chant “Fire Darvin” as much as you want, but there isn’t a coach in the world who is changing these results.

Nuggets still look like they could go up another gear if they wanted, just on a totally different level.

  24. OverusedRedditJoke

Don’t think I’ve ever seen a team literally incapable of beating a specific team. 11 straight losses. It just doesn’t matter who plays well, how many they are up by, it is just inevitable. The Lakers cannot beat this team

  25. Lakers picked the worst day to forget how to shoot threes.

And Porter Jr. made sure that nail went into their coffin.

  26. >But it was just a lot of like, the talking, and ‘the Lakers’ daddy,’ there was just so much of that going on it was like ‘all right, we get it, y’all won.’ But me and Bron had some conversations like ‘we can’t wait.’

  27. alex_song

“WE WANT ALL THE SMOKE, AND WE AINT DUCKIN NO FADES!” -Pockets Ham

  28. OptimusGrime707

Nuggets did the equivalent of letting my nephew finish a lap in Mario Kart before I pick up the controller and destroy him

Also, I wish the Kings had Aaron Gordon

  29. Man, Lebron getting the Lebronto treatment. I prayed for this and it happened.

  30. Captaincoolbeans

AG was a beast today, but MPJ has been locked tf in the last three games and has been our second best player throughout the series. Big shoutout to him especially with all the outside distractions going on, wouldn’t be 3-0 without him.

  31. that 4th quarter was some of the saddest basketball I’ve ever seen

  32. ShaolinShadowBoxing

Reaves garbage time Jordan performance was legendary

  33. CockroachForeign6419

So this is how Raptors fans felt during the LeBronto era… damn

  34. ColtCallahan

    >A win is a win, but if I’m Denver, I treat this like a loss. Lakers really figured something out putting Hachimura on Jokic. That’s one of those somewhat small adjustments that can win a series.

They are 0-10 since this tweet.

  35. Lakers and Nuggets shot NEARLY identical including hitting the same number of 2s and 3s

  36. BruceBrownMVP

This is just bullying at this point lmao.

Gordon is a fucking monster, MPJ came up huge at the right time.

And right as you have a flicker of doubt about Denver winning it all when Reggie goes down hurt Watson and Braun click in like nothing happened.

  37. UnexpectedSoggyBread

Malone is like a 6th player on the court especially when Nugs are playing defense in front of their own bench.

He’s screaming at his players, knees bent, hands out in a defensive stance, mirroring his players. Just orchestrating the team and being almost like a glue player.

Contrast that with how absent-minded and disengaged Ham acts on the sideline.

  38. sportsthatguy

Must feel amazing for Denver fans after all these years of coming up short or being seen as second tier. This is their window and they are a special group.

  39. TheNaskgul

I’m so fucking confused by this series. We turn the ball over so much, shoot like shit, take idiotic fouls and LA just keeps shitting the bed instead of taking advantage. Jokic had like 7 near-assists bricked by the shooter in the last 5 min and the gap closed by like 5 points. I’m not necessarily complaining but it goes against everything I know about basketball

  40. Better_Albatross_946

DLO was on a HEATER tonight. 24 minutes ⏰⏰⏰0-7 from the field 🔥🔥🔥🔥0-6 from DOWNTOWN🔥🔥🔥🔥0 POINTS0️⃣0️⃣0️⃣0️⃣0️⃣

  41. D-Lo with 0 pts

Even Pepe Le Pew scored 2 points in Space Jam.

  42. Jameszhang73

Lakers: “Don’t let us get 1…”

    Nuggets: “Okay, we won’t”
