CJ isn't passing the ball the Hawkins. He is a rookie and CJ is a ball hog. Hell, he wouldn't even pass to Zion. BI shouldn't handle the ball either. It's like watching someone in slow motion. BI and CJ are catch and shoot only. If they dribble more than 3 times, they should come out of the game. Quit doing the same thing every game.
CJ is streaky has been his whole carrier . Doesn’t have Lillard to save him on bad shooting nights . Brandon’s playing not to get hurt . This is a business he wants a long max career as possible . Js . Pels are done . Booking and cooked if Ingram doesn’t take 20-25 shots while limiting CJ to 12-14 max make or miss .

The fastest way to destroy a team is make starting line up changes durning a play off series . There would be a mutiny on his hands if he did that or changed the rotation that drastically. These players have careers , contract and egos .

Jake, they don't want to play Hawkins now, it will have the Fans looking at management and coaching choices. They do not want a rookie to out play a veteran making 30m, like CJ.
Here’s my take, Willie has done ok overall the past 3 years. But we need a seasoned coach to come in with some new key players at center, power forward & point guard to build around Zion, Herb & Trey. This team would have won 60 games this year if not for blowing a dozen plus 15-20 point leads!
That’s on the coach and players who fold in crunch time(CJ, BI, JV).
GET RID OF over $100 MILLION in salaries for these three players, and go after the best point guard, power forward & center out there!!(plus a few more pieces with that amount of money!!)

Jose, for God's sake, is a better point guard than CJ. BI instinctively gravitates towards ISO ball. Zion is out. Forget this series. Improve our Big Three immedaitely after we are elimimated, or get good replacements at three positions or more
New Orleans GM Dell Demps hired 3 mediocre Head Coaches from 2004-2020 who each coached 5 years. Their combined records were
551-662, and never came close to winning a championship.
Enter GM David Griffin. Hires Willie Green as Head Coach, gets a miracle pick in Zion Williamson, and makes a blockbuster trade with the Lakers trading Anthony Davis for Lonzo Ball, Josh Hart and Brandon Ingram, plus 3 future 1st round picks, with hopes to build around Zion. The only player left standing is BI. Looking back, the Lakers won a championship with AD, and the Pelicans haven’t won a first round series.
After the last game at OKC, Coach Willie is now 129-127 in 3 years with New Orleans.
That is somewhat better than the 5 year record percentage wise than the 3 coaches who each coached 5 years here.
Either replace Willie with a proven winner, or have the guts to give him what he needs and get rid of the dead weight $35 MILLION CJ Salary, and the $50 Million a year salary expected by BI next season, and take that $85 Million yearly salary and get the players needed to surround ZION to keep him here and contend for a title!!

CJ helped get us here but he is limited. We are a play in 8 seed without our best player. They are the number one seed for a reason. Bi not in rhythm and getting shut down by Dort. We need changes in off season.
