Mods on r/NBA removed the post there so I figured I’d post it here. I find it interesting how both the Embiid play last night and this play are very similar yet Embiid got punished more harshly. Even then you still have Knicks fans saying Embiid should’ve gotten ejected and should receive a suspension. I’m not even a Sixers fan I’m a Mavs fan so I’m pretty neutral on the matter. I just find it interesting the double standards in this situation.

don’t show this to knicks fans it will shatter their fragile narrative

NBA subreddit is so trash. They ignore every dirty play from the Knicks but act like the world is coming to an end when the sixers give it back to them. The embiid slander is getting so old on there. Bout to mute it with all the crying I’m seeing.

A DISGUSTING display from Donte Divincenzo. Why is the NBA protecting him? The product will be better when this thug is off the court and out of the league☝️🤓

I’m not disagreeing or anything but are we really gonna waste our day arguing over these plays and comparing to this clip until the next game?
I personally can’t take that and just gonna enjoy the W and forget about the rest. Onto Game 4!

Lmao you can see oubre kick/push him with his right leg. How is this even remotely similar to what embiid did, which was unprovoked (at least by the player)?
