DAME TIME IS BACK?!! BUCKS VS PACERS GAME 1 REACTION!!
The Milwaukee Bucks faced the Indiana Pacers in game 1 and came away with a victory primarily due to the superhero efforts of Damian Lillard in the first half. This looked like the Dame of old and he was unstoppable. The Pacers played awful and Tyrese Haliburton was locked up defensively. While this was a big win there was a major problem with how this game turned out and is why I fear for the Milwaukee Bucks in these playoffs going forward especially without Giannis Antetokounmpo.

You say the bucks were playing bad in the third quarter but we came into that quarter with a near 30 point lead and that lead never dropped under 10 (maybe it dropped once to 9 but still).
The Bucks are weird, I don't think Dame's performance in this game was as great as the numbers make it seem. He played great for a half. Yes, it was a fantastic, incredible half, and in that half alone he definitely did his part. Awesome stuff, if he can putting up similar numbers over the course of a game, the Bucks' prospects are looking a lot brighter.
But… You can't just have an entire other half of nothing. Especially against Indiana, whose defense is atrocious. He should've been able to get something. God knows Dame ain't out there for his defensive prowess. I know +/- isn't everything, but he was a -22 in the 2nd half, no one else on that team was even close to that bad, (barring Lopez at -17) just a total liability. And he's a -6 for the night. I'm really curious to see how this translates into the next game. Game 2 should be a lot more telling of what we can expect. Hopefully Dame does get his groove back. It's been depressing to watch him struggle this season.
I've never been too hot on the Indiana hype either. Yeah, their offense is great, (not this game) but teams with defense as bad as theirs tend to win nothing in the post-season. So, I don't see them getting too far even if they do manage to get past the Bucks.
Can't wait to watch the refs try to save LA.
