It is expected that Prime Video’s package will include significant regular season and postseason games, perhaps even some conference finals. The anticipation is that the final contract will be for at least a decade and begin the 2025-2026 season.

ESPN/ABC, as the website Puck reported Thursday, also has a framework of a deal with the expectations that an agreement will be completed. ESPN/ABC are expected to keep the Finals on its networks for the duration of its deals. Like Amazon, ESPN’s new contract is also expected to be at least a decade in length.

Prime might be the greatest value on the internet right now

So far MAX has all the TNT games, so which ones will Prime get? Is ESPN still going to have a piece of that pie?

All that I care about is the death. of the regional sports networks. Bally is horrible, I want the Wolves broadcast rights to go anywhere else.

Is anyone else old enough to remember when we could watch Wolves games on the WB network?

I really hope this is true, I live on the other side of the country but would be able to mooch off my parent’s Prime since they still live in MN

Anyone read the article and figure out if this has an impact on gamepass international?

  6. But how do I watch the game tonight?!? Don’t have cable or Fubu. Have the Disney bundle, but that’s ESPN+ and not ESPN 🙁

Since most American businesses have transitioned from offering an actual product or service to seeing all situations and customers as “cash extraction opportunities”, I’m guessing this will go poorly for everyone.

I was hoping it would be included with the Amazon subscription, but on Bally’s site they say:

    > Once this agreement is approved and goes into effect, Bally Sports+ will be available for purchase through Amazon’s Prime Video Channel platform for an incremental cost. If you currently watch through a pay TV provider, nothing will change.

So we’ll still have to deal with Bally’s terrible streaming? I don’t get why they’re still around or what the point is for it to be on Amazon.

Wonder how much they charging with amazon. Cause id rather have it than league pass

Rooting for the deal to be big to help defray some of the Edwards contract bump for All NBA and KATs contract.

  11. Good move by the NBA. They need to make it easier for people that aren’t willing to stream online to watch the game.
