i was at the game, and my god Khris was cooking us. The only ethical hooper on the Bucks. Dude was giving us straight buckets, no fail baiting BS, no flopping, nothing. Just straight hoops. Loved it.
I know it’s commonplace to talk about defensive breakdowns and miscommunications when you lose, but Dame has to understand the the relationship between defensive breakdowns and playing bad defense. Communication on defense only works when you can be certain everyone is playing inspired defense. Dame loafs in transition defense. He isn’t stout on the block. He’s not tenacious on the wing. He’s a very talented offensive player and great at making difficult threes. He makes the kind of shots that give his team a boost of energy. But he’s a major part of those defensive breakdowns and sounds like a politician at the podium.
