Bam Adebayo: “I feel like a lot of guys passed up open shots that they should’ve shot. That didn’t happen in game 2, guys were letting it fly.” “That’s gonna be on film.”

this has been a problem all year, they put the ball on the fucking floor too much, too many people wanna move, just shoot the thing man

  2. readndrun

Fr it looked like nobody was ready to shoot today

cool so they just went away from what worked from game 2 lol

Spot on. I was yelling shoot it every time Highsmith, Jovic and Herro had space.

Clean looks are hard to come by with no rim pressure. One guy can get to the basket and they collapse everytime he touches the ball. Tough to move on without your 2 best attackers.

A mf will get the ball and be open but stand there for like 5 seconds and let the defender close out. That shit is stupid and idk why we do that over and over again

Celtics forced Herro into a scorer today, and instead of taking Middies he forced a shit tonne of errant passes. And basically played tight on everyone else. I’m surprised Spo didn’t have us ready for that defensive adjustment

Celtics defense def closed in harder and made our guys second guess way too much, not capitalizing on our stops and turning the ball over sealed the deal

  9. Including yourself bam you gotta make Pringle and afford work on both ends of the floor especially in the paint

I’m sorry, but if Spo is the big head coach, why didn’t either he mention it again, or why didn’t the team follow the same tip they got for Game 2.

Honestly feels like they wasted this game. I’d rather they still lose but at least keep it competitively close (5-10 points behind). Not this sad blowout where Celtics fans are gloating now in the NBA subreddit that the Heat are back to being child’s play.

Only way you can make up for this is win Game 4, and make the Celtics go back to confused and doubting themselves.
