Definitely a helpful tip but guys in defense never look for a screen, your teammates should be telling you if a screen is coming and where, if they don’t, communicate that to them so you can defend the screen next time
Great example of how NBA players have no communication skills on defense today. Grew up with the 04 going tonwork pistons. Their communication on defense was the best ever. Literally. The greatest defense in NBA history.
Worked well. Played a 1v1 the other day and the call for the pick threw him off, bucket. On the play following that I tried the fake handoff. Naturally he got confused since no one was there.
This is ridiculous… here let me show you a trick that might work sometimes ..
Or you could actually teach people ways to use your defenders aggressive defense against them .. or give them ball handling tips and drills to improve first step ..
Nope … the one thing he needs is to try to fake a screen is coming ..

Basketball is a team sport.
Use your team, work as a unit
This helped me alot thank you
Been doing this since 95…lol
so we listening to the opposite team instead of our own? Easy fix is to just wait for your teammate to call out the screen.
Yeah, but you can't do it every time.
Mind > body
Great tip

This won’t work if the defenders actually communicate, but a lot of times they don’t so it can definitely work a lot
