This instinctive "now it's me to save" Mavs team is not going anywhere …. they have to rebuild the connection between Luka/Kyrie and the longs ….otherwise it's all predictable and subject to phases, like today's cold handed Luka or the series of totally gifted turnovers, exactly from the two stars, in that crucial moment of the 3rd quarter

Clippers were playing for their life. You don't come back from 3-1 after blowing a 31 point lead, they had to give it all or give up for good.
Having said that, the last PG 3 was kinda lucky, kinda miraculous — and it won the game.
