Two games in a row AJJ had a positive +/- and it surprises no one

  2. BobbbyLight

Honestly, great performance given what we were up against. Just not enough offense and the Pacers went nuts from three (we could’ve defended way better).

The best thing about all of this is knowing that the Pacers are going to absolutely get crushed by the Knicks and I will love every second of it.

  3. mkebrewers27

Appreciate the Effort. Sucks we don’t get one Giannis and Dame playoff game. It’s just a wasted year which is so unlucky. Because if we are fully healthy we win this series easily.

  4. redditryzz

Guys tried. Can’t be too disappointed. Portis let the team down.

  5. Pacers acting like they won the Finals after beating a lottery-level team lmao. Go Knicks.

  6. Reggieheathcliff

If we’re being honest, great fight by the team. The biggest issue we have is our supposed key role players are honestly unplayable 95% of the time. Jae Crowder and Pat Connaughton are supposed to be difference makers and actively hurt the team. Beasley can get hot at times but he can’t play defense effectively at all, even though he tries.

Bobby Portis also kills this team defensively (sometimes on offense too). That’s 4 key players who can actively hurt the team at any given point.

That’s 4 role players who were supposed to help contend for a title.
The shift in role players next year is going to make a huge difference I think.

Series isn’t over and lets hope for the best, but Khris (and to an extent Dame) have proven once again they can perform in big games. Get Giannis with these two surrounded by younger, more athletic players…..and we might be cooking. Excited for AJJ and Green and hopefully some other pieces.

The positives after this game is that it looks like Doc might actually play AJ Green and Ajax next season and that I get to watch the Pacers get swept by the Knicks after having to watch them talk shit to G-Leaguers for a whole series. Oh and remember that it could always be worse, we could be Suns fans.

  8. Well, at least we’re still not the Phoenix Suns.

  9. I don’t want to see crowder in a bucks uniform again. Don’t even come back to Milwaukee bum ass been a worse trade than Ibaka.

Good on Khris Brook Ajax and AJ for doing their best tonight.

  10. Dougman66

First half was surprising, but just made the 2nd half hurt more

  11. KnightN1ght2

No Giannis, no Lillard, no Bobby, hobbled Khris and Beverley, some bad calls against us, historic shooting night from the Pacers; and still in striking distance. I definitely enjoyed this game

  12. SwagTwoButton

Im just saying if im a pacers fan and just watched that game. And then found out Giannis and dame could play the rest of the series, I would be very nervous.

If dame and Giannis can’t go. I might not watch.

  13. AbbreviationsHot4482

What is the chance Giannis even plays on Tuesday?

I have no doubt we can complete a 3-1 comeback with him healthy but does the organization feel the same way?

  14. joeyjojojrshabadoo00

Should be 2-2 going back to MKE. That loss on Friday was brutal.

  15. It’ll be so entertaining seeing the Pacers get swept by the Knicks. All bark no actual bite, they only bite the ankles of hospital Bucks when they land on them on every layup attempt of ours. Bucks in 6!

  16. Different-Jump-1792

Good job, Bobby. Getting ejected Q1 when we were already shorthanded.

  17. WhileDizzy4503

Brunson is going to humble this bitch ass team. That’s what gets me through having to look at their corny faces

  18. redcrayon27

Not valuing the youth on the team has mattered so much. Jae and patty have offered nothing this series. Pat bev I like but he’s offered a little, marjon and Ajax haven’t been developed and should’ve been. We’d need size and athleticism against Boston and we need it in these games to even get there. Annoying, I’ll always be a fan of this team but frustrated by the choices made during the season. And speaking of giannis shouldn’t have played thru that injury all year he looked hobbled for long stretches and it’s fucked us. Bucks in 7.

  19. Darrow-au_andromedus

It sucks losing to a team we would absolutely beat at full strength. Hope we win at least the next one to kick them in their tiny nuts.

  20. Remarkable_Counter47

Just please win game 5. Hearing turner say “we’ve got one more to take care of on the road”. It’s not over folks, fill the fiserv

  21. King_Giannis

Wish we all could have watched an even matchup with our franchise guys in there, but life is unfair

  22. ImpressiveAd2771

Idk about you but this game gives me hope for the next season. We NEED to give AJax consistent mins and the same with AJ. We more more athleticism surrounding the core and a big man who can rebound.

  23. The craziest thing is we had a basically identical fg% as the pacers. The offense was good enough and we stopped siakam. It doesn’t need to be said but the 3pt disparity is what killed us. Let’s pray we can get dame or Gianni’s Tuesday and Bobby has a redemption game. If we can last to Thursday I wouldn’t be surprised to have all the big 3 and anything’s possible from there

  24. Beasly at 34 minutes is just too much. We need AJJ up at 32-34, less minutes from Gallo and Jae, Marjon and Portis pick up those minutes next game please.

  25. xSmoothNoodle

Bobby let down the whole city of Milwaukee tonight. Just no excuse for that

  26. ![gif](giphy|Kfx2kgBd0gqdanZaid)

    Not like this man

  27. Giannis and Dame playing in Game 5 together would hit like crack

  28. Jack12404

We kept it close most of the game with our two all-star starters hurt. Not much else you can ask.

Let our big three get healthy, consider trading a few of our older vets, draft an athletic big man + a good perimeter defender, and give Marjax, AJG, and Livingston more minutes and I’ll feel a lot better.

  29. Ajax +9 in 25min

    Malik -19 in 34min

… Doc is wrong for that.

  30. drutastic57

I’m so Fn done with Bobby. Most important game of the season and he throws it away trying to act tough. Let the whole team down. Such a selfish player

  31. drooheller

Alright hear me out…what if doc manages to do a reverse doc

  32. SoCalMemePolice

Bobby, Pat, and Crowder shouldn’t sniff this squad next year. We need wing defenders and youth. Ajax my beloved starting getting ready

  33. KnightN1ght2

One thing I want to add, Andrew Nembhard was able to penetrate 3 straight times in the 4th without any trouble and was only stopped with a help defender inside the paint. We can’t guard the perimeter, the paint and the three without conceding at least one. They made us pay from three tonight.

  34. cactus_doldrums

I personally think it was a dereliction of duty from the coaching staff to not play MarJon. What would we have had to lose? Pat Connaughton couldn’t hit a shot and I bet MarJon has much more energy and defensive potential than him. In addition, I know that Thinasis is not a great option generally, but given this unique situation, why not throw him out there and throw him at some of these players…he can be kind of a pest.

  35. notamillenial-

At least we’re not the suns. They’re all healthy

  36. SirUlrichVonLichten

What’s frustrating is that if Giannis and Dame never got hurt this series would look so different. It’s also frustrating that it’s another year where Giannis gets hurt and we go down to a team that we have no business losing to.

But there is hope. A series isn’t over after 3-1. If Giannis can come back, I’ve seen him do heroic things before. We just need Giannis back for game 5.

  37. 1Pac2Pac3Pac5

Pat connaughton is fucking horrific. He’s supposed to be a three point sniper? Did he make a single three tonight? Fucking useless

  38. I appreciate Brook for helping us get that ring, but it’s time to go blud. I don’t know how many times he left his guy wide open for a 3 to try to help on a 2. Jae….what does he even do? Why did we get him? I have no doubt if healthy, we smash Indiana but doc gives us no chance right now. I’m praying we get a new HC in the summer

  39. Ajax stuffed the stat sheet with 6 pts, 6 rebounds, 7 assists, and 3 steals. How could a coach whose been around basketball for 40 years not see how useful Ajax can be?

  40. bjaardkered

FWIW, That was a far more positive game than I ever expected. We found out there’s some real talent on our bench and they’re just as good if not better than the supposed “role players” like Jae and Pat.

AJ Green needs to tighten things up and stop learning the Pat C “imma throw myself in every direction and be out of position for the 3” defensive strategy. But he’s young and can learn.

Ajax, dude needs to get real minutes next year. A little bit of maturity and he’s gonna be damn good.

This series is probably over. But give them a whole off season of learning Doc’s playbook and gelling and we might be able to run something back.
