The injury-riddled Milwaukee Bucks drop Game 4 and now find themselves on the brink of elimination

The Milwaukee Bucks entered Game 4 against the Indiana Pacers without Giannis Antetokounmpo and Damian Lillard and then had to play most of the game without Bobby Portis. While the Bucks did play with great effort, they lost 113-126 and now are on the brink of elimination.

Camille Davis discussed how the Bobby Portis ejection changed the game, the play of the Bucks rotational players, plus the latest news around Giannis and Dame’s injuries.

  1. If you think since the 2018 season the bucks have been very unlucky. Ok they won a chip so what ever. But 2018/19 lost at conferenence after double overtime cause giannis fouled out. Next season covid the team was 52 and 7. Season after championship chris got injured on a wet patch and then last year giannis got hurt in game and this year the known injuries.
Yes it was a crappy season but the team even as is if they were healthy the would at least go to east finals

  2. The role of underdog requires playing with an edge, with fire, to turn the scoring flow around. Seriously, look at Draymond’s efforts to spark the Warriors. But he chooses the role, the act, so he’s not a victim of it. Bobby isn’t built that way, though. He can’t turn it off with his will. The Bucks are still not built for the playoffs.

  3. Pat Bev and Bobby are similarly minded players. But the fromer is smart with it and knows when to stop his antics (also playing on 1 hand and 1 leg), while the latter can't tell the difference between being a "dawg" and being a fool who lets his teamates down in the most important match of the season to start a fistfight with a nobody. If i had to pick one of them to keep going forward, id take Pat Bev every day of the week.
PS: Love what im seeing from Ajax, his minutes should go considerably higher both in what playoff games remain and next season.

  4. It’s not over till it’s over.
I realized months ago this season wasn’t our glory season. We might be able to make some off season changes and get some continuity going and come out ready to go next season

  5. Camille and Tony crossover is the revelation of this playoff. Everyone should write locked on to get them as Locked on NBA regular duo.

  6. I hate these pacers btw. Whether it be the bucks or the Knicks, I can’t wait for someone to whoop them and teach a lesson. Wipe their little grins off and teach humility.
Tyrese big goofy smile makes my blood boil

  7. Thank you for your time and dedication to the Bucks and us fans Camille, especially on tough days like after a playoff loss 🙌🏾

  8. Face it buckaroos this team is in serious need of a rebuild. Middleton will never give you consistent minutes even in the playoffs leave alone regular season. Lopez dispite being a good 3 pointer is a liability defensively in paint and transition against fast pace and good rebounding teams. Both this two need equally good subsitutes. This is reason Gianniss will never get to playorf finals because apart from clocking avg 37 min each game in regular season, he has to cover the shortcomings of paint big forwards. Meaning he carries a 3 times the load each game.

Plus need to consider offloading dame vis a good, taller playmaker/ shooting guard who is tougher and can add to defense meaningfully. Dont get me wrong damien is good but the role he brings to the bucks is one dimensional. Plus i dont think he is fully committed.

This team rooster was very poorly thought from a very long ways back. Plus we have been perennial failing at acquiring a supportive 1st tier and second tier bench options. Leading to using the same 5 players in high minutes daily for the past 4 yrs or so. Its no wonder they are all in the bench when we need the most. I mean look at what Oubre- knicks, Anenoubi-knicks & pj washington- mavs are doin. At one point we could have acquired this options. Furthermore our 3 top talents are now all in the red with recurring injuries and sell by date either past or fast approaching. If we dont act now it will save us future tears.

In future forget acquiring age 30+ talents, they rarely payoff. Just go back to history and you will get many examples.

Finally trade boby portis. He is a good talent but his character will cause you much heartbreak down the line. With a team in dire need of talent you cant afford his shenanigans.

  9. No not Bravo wth? Bobby never wanted to be in that game. The team never closed out on 3s, ridiculous.

  10. From a Pacers fan maximum respect to the Bucks. Ya'll could have thrown in the hat and mailed it in .

  11. bucks getting beat by young players with no name because the buck front office are banch of idiots surrouding Giannis with old players in a young players league and expect him to him. the General Manager of the bucks should be fired rite away.

  12. What we've really seen I think is the impact of putting high caliber athletes on the floor. Has Ajax been busting ceilings? No. But he gets in and performs as advertised – high energy, explosiveness, tenacity. Are there dumb fouls and strange choices? Yeah – but that happens when you don't even smell the floor for weeks. I honestly have been fighting the Doc hate – internally – but these types of decisions are the same things that we fired Bud for. Inflexible, unimaginative, and lacking in technical detail. We seldom get buckets off of a timeout inbound, we usually don't even get good looks – that's coaching. Beasly has just freaking imploded – maybe getting a couple of hits in garbage time will shake him out of it, but he's just so trash off ball that you wonder if the right opportunity is going to develop. The only shots he's getting are ball screens at the top of the key – he needs to be active off ball on opposite wings, we throw that skip pass all day long but you still have to put yourself in a position to be successful. Also Bobby – fuck you dude – you knew the situation be an adult.

  13. Just go to next year already. This team is done. Get younger and start cutting players who aren't gonna help you down the road. The whole roster needs to be change.

  14. Portis should be fined his whole 2024 salary for not using his brain. I have ben saying he is chasing numbers, when around team mates only he rushes to fight for the rebound while Brook does the opposite, he tips it to a team mate

  15. Middleton and Bobby gotta go. We could get Murray from Atlanta or some thing for those two easily. Bucks got to be smart in the off-season.
