the nuggets got too confident. confidence is a tricky thing, if you're too confident you become complacent and start slacking but not enough confidence and you screw up. Plus the Lakers played really well so give them credit. plus the nuggets were due for a loss against the lakers. you can't beat someone forever, eventually you lose. the greatest chess player that is a grandmaster will eventually lose to a master level chess player if they play enough times

I think it would be bad to play him injured. Why risk it. They can win this one without him. They cant win the championship if he ends the season by getting injured more seriously.
It's not the same scale, cause the Heat are not as good but Butler continued playing the in game injured, they lost that game anyway and now lost him for the entire series against Boston. Maybe if he hadn't continued that game, he would not have worsened his injury.

Gentleman's Sweep. Team just wanted to give Jokic another game so he can pad his already ridiculous triple-double numbers in the playoffs. Avoiding a sweep means more chances to notch another 30/15/15 gem (almost had one last game!)
Anybody saying that murray is fine has got to be stupid. Giannis is out because of a calf strain, KAT was out for a long time because of his calf. KD in 2019 had calf issues that led to his Achilles injury and eventually took him out for 2 years. This thing is no joke and i hope nuggets take it seriously and not play Murray. Sorry nuggets fan but this year were short, we should had picked up a backup pg and a reliable bech sg. Westbrook would had been great for Denver. Good hustler, good defender when games on the line and could give you 20 points.

What are you talking about? KD was moving the ball and playing great with the Warriors. The issue with Draymond wasn’t not moving the ball, it is well known that Draymond told him they don’t need him to win. Hating on one of the top 15-20 players of all time looks bad on you.

Lakers fan here. Nice to see the passion from the fans and Matt & Adam. Best of luck to the Nuggets tonight. They can win and close out. They've earned the right to have this opportunity in game 5. I expect Jokic to put up a HUGE game and get Anthony Davis in foul trouble. The lakers may hit some 3s though. Hoping for a great game!
stop worrying guys the Nuggets are in control and the Lakers can't do better than what they showed in 4th … Jamal was below average, Joker didn't even exist and AirFlash Gordon was too slow on defense … it won't happen twice in a row!! just like they lost on purpose to get them back to the Ball Arena
Too many people keep saying oh here we go playoff Murray is going to rip and roar and granted without his winning shot we could be in dire trouble but another 9 -23 won't do it. Course bench outscored by 10. Watson and Jackson or Holiday look lost. Plus Gordon can't go 29 then 7. Geesh. How does Davis have 23 boards. To close this out we have to simply shoot over 50% for the game which we haven't done yet. If we do we won't get behind by double digits period.
