The strength of the Cavs has been how deep of a team we are. Why not have a deeper rotation like we did in the regular season, thus tiring our our opponents with fresh legs for an entire game. We have been scoring less points in the second half of the games, and maybe it's because we are playing a different style than they are used for for 82 games. Tired legs equals more bricks. In addition it keeps the rest of the team loose and ready to play. I know the conventional wisdom is to shrink the rotation, but that is clearly not working for us. I know there is more than this that is our problem, but maybe this is one solution. You also can be more physical cause you can spread out fouls to different players. Also., play Sam with Donovan NOT Darius. JBs stubboness with rotations is very frustrating. What's the point of having a deep bench if we don't leverage it.
IDK though… come on Cavs
Normally, you could rely on a regression to the mean. But Orlando is shooting WIDE OPEN 3's all day. Unless the Cavs open up that floor and actually defend the shooters, Orlando could very well shoot like this again in game 5.
