  1. Ant is young enough that his ankles can take the abuse. Good for him and good for the T-Wolves. Helluva Sweep Job!

  2. They might run Kawhi out of LA if he plays in Olympics and misses the rest of these playoffs. Feel bad for the guy.

  3. Booker and ANT are still equals to me, but one’s team is dysfunctional and one’s is on the same page/know their roles/getting better every day

  4. Jalen certainly doesn't jump out of the gym but i would say he's superbly athletic outside of that . he's got an great first step , fast , strong as hell, stamina for days

  5. if lebron forced his way to a team (making them trade their young wing talent), and the team fired their head coach, traded their starting point guard, and traded their starting center, all we'd hear about is LeGM and how he ruins teams (despite him winning with literally ever franchise he's played for). but with durant it's 'poor kd! his stupid owner forced them to trade for beal! all he can do is play with the teammates he has!'

  6. whoever wins MIN v DEN will win it all (barring injuries).. BOS needs to overcome their playoff demons before I can take them seriously.. They've been on the cusp for like 5-6 years now..

  7. also, i remember saying it was stupid to dangle your #1 pick starting center in restricted free agency after you made the finals with him anchoring the defense, and what do you know?! it ruined the relationship between him and the team, helped lead to the coach getting fired, and his value was so low by the end that they traded him for jusuf nurkic. they have undervalued their young players for years and it came home to roost in this series

  8. Why would one ask for a trade and they been hurt at money time? Such dum takes!!! Stop treating every player like they the same. Indy scrubs foh

  9. Bontemps was at his worst in this podcast…saying that Ant "raced right past" a player who outscored Ant in the final game and scored 49? It's prisoner-of-the-moment mentality at its pinnacle. I think Ant is a good player, and has tremendous potential to be a great one in the coming years. But let's let crown him Jordan yet (I remember others with similar "Baby Jordan" nicknames like Harold Miner.) Let us remember that this is just a FIRST round victory! You haven't actually accomplished anything yet (the first sweep only speaks to how lame Minnesota pro sports franchises have been in general historically). And he misused the word "apocryphal" also, while SMUGLY THINKING he used the right term (MacMahon is easily bluffed because he's too self-deprecating), "Apocryphal" means false or untrue–how the hell does that describe the mistake that Dallas made in not signing Brunson–he probably meant "apocalyptic" instead.

So MacMahon, even if you didn't know what "apocryphal" meant, neither did Bontemps, though he false think he did (or at least completely misspoke and misused it). Bad times instead, not good times.

  10. Matt Ishbia, "What to do? I never should have traded Chris Paul.". As crazy as this seems, with few options outside free agency, it wouldn't surprise me if CP3 lands back with the Suns next season. Man, they need a truckload of HGH in Phoenix.

  11. I think its ridiculous these guys ignore history to blowviate over the cuttent guys. In no world was this game by brundan better than the clyde frazier close out game in the 70s. Learn the history of the game man.

  12. Breaking News: Ban McMahon is now barred from all Phoenix Suns home games for the upcoming season and his mortgage is being reviewed. Ishbia is certainly a team builder … for the Nets. Maybe when the Nets are good they'll trade for Durant again.

  13. So I guess the not-so-secret media campaign to re-make Luka into the secret DPOY is over because of some secret Luka injury? Cry me an Amazon River!

  14. People complain about resellers with Knicks fans in Wells Fargo, but the tickets were face value from the box office a week before. Nobody resold those tickets.

  15. Brunson hunted the Tobias Harris matchup in switches for iso, and kept Embiid when Embiid picked him up full court. Philly didn't decide to do that.

  16. Wolves gave the Nuggets problems in the first round last year too, it should be a good series and I hope everyone can stay healthy on both sides so we get the full fight.

  17. When you hear these "smartest people on Earth" defend Vogel, remember they inflated and defended Rivers forever and they used to say Monty was an awesome coach

  18. I'm a little irritated by you gents downplaying how reckless Embiid has been in this series. Fukc Embiid. Still love y'all, though.

  19. I'm happy that Kyrie has a chance to silence the doubters and reinvigorate his legacy, he really needed this season to go well. He definitely looks to be as healthy as he's ever been. What a baller.

  20. I tuned in to the NBA last week to see some games, and all I got were blowouts and sweeps. Throw the commercials and referee breaks in there and I was bored out of my mind.

  21. I'll bring out a receipt from last year, all three of these guys called the Wolves trade for Gobert dumb and by the end of the year were saying KAT should be traded because with his contact they were going to be in salary cap hell .. the tone of that episode was EXACTLY the same as this one.. the west is going to be a bloodbath for the next 5 years so losing in the first round is a disappointment but not exactly shameful
