Jamal Murray hit a go-ahead jumper with 4 seconds remaining to lift the Denver Nuggets over the Los Angeles Lakers, 108-106, and advance to the Western Conference Semifinals. Murray recorded 32 points (5-10 3PM) and 7 assists for the Nuggets, with Nikola Jokic adding 25 points, 20 rebounds, and 9 assists in the victory. LeBron James tallied 30 points, 11 assists, and 9 rebounds for the Lakers. The Nuggets win the best-of-seven series, 4-1, and will face the Timberwolves for Game 1 in the Western Conference Semifinals on Saturday May 4.
Jamal Murray is the only player in the PxP era (1997-98) to score 2 game-winning FGs in the final five seconds of a playoff game in a single series.

However, this series should have been a sweep…. but I notice Jokic has been playing lazier and needs to be more involved or else nuggets might continue to have hard time. Is it just me or is this just the most boring brand of basketball. No one goes in the paint unless its wide open, no one really crashes the glass. This doesn't compare to the 80s-90s brand of basketball. Neither of these two teams seem to care if they win or lose.
