  1. Anthony Edwards is that guy. Only 22 just imagine how good he’s gonna be in his prime. Also best SG in the league

  2. The most incredible part about the timberwolves is how quick and sudden their rise has been. This is a team a few years ago that was a poverty franchise had one real all star hadn’t won a playoff series in years. They were bottom of the barrel. They get a guy like Anthony Edwards who is the X factor this team so desperately needed along with one of the best rim protectors of the past 20 years in Rudy gobert. And they’ve taken off and ran with it. They have been the best defensive team in the nba. Play very efficient offensively. This team seemingly overnight has turned themselves into a contender

  3. I think one thing that is overlooked is the coaching. Chris Finch is an amazing coach on both sides, more so on the defensive side of the ball. He’s figured out how to use Gobert when teams try to use small ball on him, and that has significantly bolstered their defense as now their anchor can stay on the floor for longer. While the players are amazing, let’s not forget who’s utilizing them to their fullest.

  4. Most incredible part of the wolves is how cohesive they are this year compared to last. It's almost all the same pieces yet everyone is tied into the same goal its amazing to watch them hustle night in and night out.

  5. The most impressive thing about the wolves is their historic defense going from an franchise that never seemed to care to now being among some of the best defenses in NBA history is wild

  6. Nice to see the first season in my lifetime where the wolves are legit good. Just wish Glen Taylor would get the heck out as owner

  7. I think that the most incredible aspect of the TWolves run this 2024 season is how much they improved from last season without any major roster changes, which means that they have grown so much internally. It's the epitome effect of "give them one year to gel" type of team. With their defense stifling their opponent and ANT proving to be a legit #1 of a winning team is so fun to see.

  8. To show how important I think Connelly is, in a do-not-touch scale, in the first tier I place only him, Edwards and Finch.
That said…. I just want to point out to people not knowing Wolves history that he found the basis for this team ready. The person who hired Finch, drafted Edwards (there were people saying we made a mistake not drafting Ball), traded up and drafted McDaniels, signed undrafted sixth man of year Naz Reid and accumulated players like Vanderbilt, Beasley and even D'Lo that were going to be used for Connelly 's future transfers, was Rosas.
That said…. To have the guts to do those two trades he did for Gobert and Conley and NAW was amazing.
P.S. The most impressive thing about the Wolves is that in D they are like a true pack Wolves attacking, destroying and enjoy doing it. And the fact that they are so well coached that both in offence and defence there is a plan A,B,C,D

  9. Short description of the Wolves:
A complete team. A superstar and an all-star sidekick. Best defensive center with 4 excellent backcourt guards (Alexander-Walker, Edwards, Conley, McDaniels). On a small note, Conley, throughout his career was selected in an all-defensive team a couple of times if I'm not mistaken. And let's not talk too much about the bench. Yes, Alexander-Walker is from the bench, though I put him with the backcourt guards, he was instrumental not only in this series against the Suns, but also throughout the whole season.
Naz Reid, 6th man of the year, Alexander-Walker, Kyle Anderson – a Swiss army knife type of player, he can do it all, and the best quality he has, his defense, very underrated. I watched all 82 games in the regular season and of course I am watching the playoffs. Guys, the number of times he poked (even stole) the ball from a player in 1vs1 situation as a defender. He has very long arms and can poke away the ball from various angles. He did that to so many players this season, I was shocked that no one was talking about it in the media.
So, what do you say for a team that has A superstar Edwards, an all-star Towns, most likely the defensive player of the year in Rudy Gobert, 6th man of the year in Naz Reid, most likely an all-defensive team (1st, 2nd or 3rd) in Jaden McDaniels. That's a complete team. They are what you can find in Kyle Anderson. The Wolves are a Swiss army knife, they are not the best in every game scheme, but they can do it all, hence why they are a matchup nightmare for 95% of NBA teams.

  10. NAW and Mike Conley for DLo has gotta be one of the biggest fleeces of all time. Absolutely useless player for an incredible foundational piece and a great young developing player.

  11. As a nuggets fan I’m stressing about the wolves 😅 they’re playing their best basketball and we are not
