Grant is not a power forward. Portland needs an actual power forward
Look.how grizzles collapse w too many younglings, n how well a playful Ant Edwards has blossomed Amid vets in the wolves. Keep some.vets ard. Esp w a young point guard who's struggled. Brog can shoot the 3 n pass. A lot to teach scoot n and 31 he still has a few yrs to go
In order for Ayton to live to his full potential we need a beast at power forward! I love Grant and the role he fills. We have gone in a direction. Potential for a great defensive team and transition with our current roster. Just like previous Blazer teams that have had great success, I E. Maurice, Buck and Sheed.
Minneapolis, Lakers, Phoenix, Clippers Pelicans, Miami, Bulls, Raptors, Dallas, Nets, Spurs, pistons all can use a player like Malcom Brogdon.
The only team I could see trading for Grant would be the 76ers as they will have the cap space to sign him… with that said, who do we have on our roster that can immediately step up and replace Grants productivity? Even if we feel confident in Jabari at PF, Grant should then take over the SF role (as that's his natural position). If we draft Sarr (God willing), then we still need Grant to man the SF. Even if we somehow manage to grab Sarr and then someone like Buzelis with the GSW pick (which seems incredibly doubtful), would it not be wise to have a veteran presence in the locker room? Banton has made Brogdon expandable, but I don't see a scenario that makes sense to move Grant, unless a team like the 76ers are willing to back up the Brinks truck to make a trade happen.
Grant needs to go i think hes a good player one of my favorite before this szn but he isnt a fit for this team I want to see tou or jabari in that 4 spot also ant or brogdon have to go i think ant cuz wed get more value+ i think think brodgon will be better to help develop scoot n shae
i honestly don’t mind keeping brogdon around but only if we trade ant. i’m tired of watching the two players who take the most difficult shots in the nba. grant and ant out, true power forward like an aaron gordon in
If we're going to tank, why the hell wouldn't we trade Malcom. Especially if we're trying to develop young talent.
