Without Kawhi they have to shoot 60%+ from the three to win and us shooting badly. If they do so and beat us all we can do is tip the hat. The fact of the matter is we’re a better team who’s shooting bad and winning. Variance plays a factor we can win with a bad shooting night. Can they win with a bad shooting night? Or can they a win with us having a good shooting night and them having an average one?

  2. At this point I’m not even sure if this is good news.

A healthy Kawhi is obviously a huge problem, but can he even be healthy enough?

Bad news. Super hobbled Kawhi was way worse for the Clippers than no Kawhi.

  4. The way he’s looked, I’m not sure he’ll even be healthy for the rest of the postseason if they happen to get past us.

Even if he’s healthy, he shouldn’t. Clips kill us without him, unfortunately.

I’m sorry guys but if we cannot win a game rn without their best player I’d be extremely disappointed. Go in there tomorrow with highest intensity (like we did down 31 in G4) and we should come out on top relatively stress free.

It’s not even that the Clippers without Kawhi are bad, they have lots of firepower but c’mon it’s embarrassing at this point.

Honestly if we get eliminated by Kawhi-less Clippers it will be the 3rd worst Playoff loss I have ever seen from Mavs, and I have been watching for damn near 20 years now.

And that would probably still hold true, even if I had been watching it for another 20 years before.

I don’t give a fuck anymore. I don’t care what happens next round or whatever JUST WIN THESE NEXT TWO GAMES. Going to be a tough summer knowing the clippers ended our season three fucking times

As soon as the Mavs get the momentum in their favor, Kidd will go back to small ball with Maxi at the 5 and give up “tough” wide open floaters to Harden again.

I think he’ll only play in game 7 if it comes to it. His legs are just so cooked.

  11. Am I the only one that immediately thinks Youngmisuk is a rapper name for a minute before realizing what sub they are on?

They should be planing for this for the rest of the series, and can’t start games so flat and expect to comeback. Kidd is slow learner, but let’s hope he can make the necessary adjustments. They have been better without him, but they have also had incredible shooting games, and we played our worst quarter this year in game 1. If things regress to the mean, we should be able to take game 5 and 6. Also I saw Kai tweeted about a white buffalo calf being born and how the energy is supposed shift in the world, so I think that means we will be able to pull it out.

I personally think we have a better chance to win if Kawhi isn’t in the lineup. For all we know, they’re sitting him because they think they can win without him and they can give him a full week to come back. Yes we have lost both games that Kawhi didn’t play. And it took shooting over 60% on extremely high volume to do it (mainly game 4 not game 1). If either of Harden or PG takes a step back we are set, even better if that happens and Luka finally arrives. Is much rather have to deal with 2 star scorers than 3. If clippers do lose tomorrow I think Kawhi is playing Friday and he will be pretty rested up.
