  1. I think the french prospects are somewhat overrated this year… This is the Wemby effect! You would be very disappointed if you expect a Wemby#2 …

  2. I heard you say for almost everyone that you would like the pick "if we picked them 3 or beyond" or "5 and beyond" or "with the Raptors pick"… Who would you like to see drafted if we have the #1 or #2 pick?

  3. I like Rob Dillingham the best out of all the guards, even over Topic (who is a close 2nd in my opinion). But picking any of them with the #1 pick doesn't feel right.

Frankly picking anyone from this draft with the #1 pick would probably not feel right. They probably won't end up being what you expect a #1 pick to be (espicially compared to our other Spurs #1 picks). I'd almost feel bad for whomever we pick if we got the #1 pick because there is almost no chance they can live up to the expectations of a #1 pick.

  4. French here ! Salaun is not the best french but he is seen as the highest potential among the 3 french you have mentioned. His athleticism and works ethics might make him a beast.

  5. Just trying to be honest. I struggle to hear you in a pleasant way on my phone speakers. Sounds like if your microphone saturares and distorts your voice, making it hard to listen to

  6. Wrong about Dillingham evaluation. I’ve seen his highlights from March madness the kid is lightning fast ⚡️

  7. Been seeing a lot of rumors that Lebron will join the team that drafts Bronny. I know its unlikely, but what do you think of Spurs drafting Bronny (2nd round probably) and possibly getting Lebron? I dont know how I feel about it to be honest.

  8. If Ryan Dunn drops to 2nd round to us please take him. Best defensive player in the draft. So what about shooting 90% of the shooters you mentioned can’t shoot as you said so go for the big defensive player like Ryan in the second round and hope he develops a 3 pt shot

  9. Sarr would be a pretty good fit, but I think Edey and Wemby would be incredible!
Which 7'4" guy are you going to double Wemby or Edey?
BTW, Zach Collins is small 7' player at the 5 and was often bullied out near the basket so don't try and compare him to Edey.

  10. Check out Ryan Dunn, he should fall out of the lottery and he could be a steal. Long arms and a top Defender who just needs to work on his offensive game.

  11. Most important thing who are we sending to the lottery to rep the Spurs? Needs to be a Holt that is when we have the most luck. 🙂

  12. If they can't shoot, we don't need them. Can't be the worst 3-point shooter team, then draft prospects who can't shoot.

  13. I don't agree for Sarr's fit. The article probably look to much Cleveland Mobley+Allen
The difference is Allen is an old school 5 who don't shoot 3.
On the other side, Wemby have no issue to take any 3 he want…
Even if Sarr shoot around 28-30% of his 3 (becoming like a Mobley) his speed and agility makes him able to cut from the perimeter (and not clog the paint as Zach did with Wemby)

On D it'll be so great.

Also they don't have to play all the time together (Wemby and Sarr).
Both can begin the game then one stay when the other goes on the bench, then vice versa. It's quite possible to have one of them all the time on the court doing great D, and some of the time both of them. I see no reason why It'd not be great.

And FYI Sarr played most of his time as a 4 not a 5. and he's elite on help D (better than one on one D) he's a real PF, not a C.

The only issue is for those Sochan's lovers who don't want him to begin from the bench. BTW Sarr would be a better fit than Sochan as a 4 with Wemby. on both side of the court.

  14. Pretty simple choice to me. Spurs need shooting so that narrows it down with the exception of Sarr and Topic which is where talent surpasses fit.

    1. Sarr
    2. Topic
    3. Reed
    4. Dillingham
    5. Holland/Buzelis/Dalton

  15. Pacome Dadiet is trying to enter the draft … Second round steal …or let's see how far up the draft this guy goes. And still want Edey as a Spurs ….I did guarantee sidy for our second pick last year … Alien in the Mask 👽

  16. I wouldn't compare Sarr and Collins. I think both Victor and Sarr could play together and more importantly in time when one of them sits there would be little or no loss of momentum. Play BIG. The Spurs have played too small for too long.

  17. Can passing compensate for lack of shooting with Topic? Ask OKC about Giddy. Teams dare him to shoot. He's a liability imo. Pass on non shooters.

  18. in the scenario where the spurs get both picks this year id get either topic or dillingham with the first pick and then with the raptors pick Id get clingan to help anchor the other side of wemby

  19. Not a great draft, but I would love to get some luck with the Raptors’ pick as well as our own pick being top 3!
