Also keep Naji and I agree. Those 6 should be all we keep this offseason.

Jose went 3/20 from the field in this series. He’s a dawg with a lot of heart but those numbers are not remotely justifiable. He adds nothing on offense and they hunted his size all series.

You don’t “build around” Jose lmao. You keep him as a 7th/8th option at best, but he is not getting this many minutes on any team with competent PG’s.

Dyson has more potential than Jose. Wanna see him breakout
afriendlyspider
Griff should be collecting unemployment not building around the Pelicans

I still think we should trade BI for Trae Young and either relegate CJ to the bench or trade him for depth pieces. 🤷♂️

I know you fuckin lyin with JRE in that screenshot

Zion, Trey, Herb, Hawkins, & maybe Dyson. I’d say only Zion & Herb should be considered off limits.

Jose isn’t a starter.

Building around jose is a crazy sentence.

I’m not sure Griffen has the balls to trade Ingram unless he asks out or makes it clear he doesn’t want to be here. Griffen is always saying things like “family” and always trying to praise BI as a leader. I hope he gets traded but we’ll have to see if Griffen has the sack for it.

Can’t build around a player that never plays in the post season

dyson over jose

My man, everyone focused on Jose as if you said make him our starting PG. I know what you mean, having him as a spark is amazing.
Clearly we need to fill out the PG and C positions. Dyson is an interesting piece but also could be a great trade chip since him and Herb are so similar. Unfortunately we missed the chance to trade JV. But after the impact holgrem had as a rim defender im convinced we need Jarett Allen or someone like that.

Replace Jose with Naji. To I would like to keep Jose as a cheap bench guy

I don’t want to give up on Dyson either. He is so young

That’s six though.

Love how everyone is praising Zion for this one season despite his history. He finally gets in shape (mid way through the season) and shows what he can do after load managing for 2 years. He didn’t come into the season in shape (as usual) and still ended up injured when we really needed him, like usual. Also, despite the great games he’s had this year, he still didn’t show up for a lot of meaningful ones. I’m still not sold at all on him and he’ll probably want out the minute they make the drastic changes they need to. He should be on the trading block with some obvious others.

Not asking to troll, but what are the realistic options to upgrade at the PG and C positions, while not trading any of the aforementioned players that OP suggested?

Any convo that doesn’t include BI is a non-starter
