Ppl can blame Mitch for the 4 point play but dude hit the 3 anyway so it was only 1 more points or they can blame whatever else but to me Brunson not passing the ball freaking once the end of the 4th and the whole overtime is the biggest issue.. dude took terrible shot after terrible shot and then terrible turnovers late in games again.. he trying to play hero ball and he killed us tonight.. idc what he has done.. we talking about this series and that game and that was just awful.. since when did he become that player????? We are in this series cause of his teammates and he did not even trust them or pass to them??? Ur telling me deuce would have not hit a big shot??? Or even OG??? I bet they woulda… just unbelievable by Brunson

My wife watches with me once in a while and every single game she’s warched she complains about how many free throws they miss, and she’s 100% right Yo.. have to make ur free throws down the stretch and they’ve been horrible at that the entire season .. in the last few mins of the game Brunson missed 2 straight, og missed 1, and then Josh hart missed that huge 1 at the end .. just unacceptable
Man there's too much blaming brunson for losing this game. Yes in ot he didn't finish it the best n that turnover hurt but before that point he dropped 35 n he was the one that gave that pass to Mcbride which should have sealed the game. Mitch n that last play where Maxey got that clean look is why we lost
Thibs blew it in regulation by not fouling after the 4pt play. He just seen a 4pt play and you let him shoot a logo 3. Should've call a timeout for a game winning play

Robinson lost the game. We were up by 6 points with 28 seconds left. Let Maxey hit that 3 point shot. We would have had 24 seconds on the clock. Get the ball run the clock without getting attacked. Thibs call a time out. The ball closer to our offensive board. Game over

Best way to look at it is that they have been lucky recently so let's chalk this up as a lost opportunity. There is plenty of things we can blame for the loss but it's time to move onto the next game. I've had a feeling since the start of this series that this could go 7 games. That possibility is now there and hopefully I'm wrong. Let's go Knicks, lets close it out in Philly.

Different faces, same results!… This team is snake bitten, in are history after winning are last chip all we have done is choke in the playoffs when we get there!… If they lose this series I am taking a break, I can't anymore… The 90's with losing to Jordan & Miller, to the 2000's losing to George, Young & now possibly to Maxey… How is it we constantly play against an opponent whose 1 guy is better than all 5 guys we have on the court at the most significant time in the playoffs!!!!!

I’m pointing out Mitchell Robinson on this one. The foul that caused the 4 point play and not closing out after the set screen for a long 3. Come on man that was 7 quick points for them. Just dumb shit. Ppl are going to miss free throws and Brunson had it going all game. Yeah he could have made better decisions at the end, but that OT wouldn’t have happened if we defended Maxey a lot better. He has been killing us every game and we need to figure out what to do with him bc he is getting whatever he wants! Now we are going back to Philly with a motivated sixers team. We should have closed it in 5.

Not ONE person said after Game 2, the Knicks should have fouled…..Not 1…..Maybe it was the "euphoria" of coming away with a win in that situation that masked "mistakes"….but I don't remember hearing anyone say we should have fouled….and had we won, nobody would have hardly said it after game 5….and up 3 with seconds left you don't foul in the backcourt, you wait until they cross half-court before you start playing the free-throw game, but Maxey damn near shot and made it from half-court…. Either way, you have to call a play or let that be known at the free-throw line to foul, not during live action in that situation….so that's on the sidelines, but more so missed free-throws and turnovers……
Why wasn't that a breakaway or take-foul when OG stole the ball late in the 4th and went 1 of 2….there was no play on the ball…..
WE NEED EVERY KNICK FAN IN PHILLY THURSDAY NIGHT ASSEMBLE THE AVENGERS
I didn’t like the 7 man rotation. Understand there aren’t many solid players left on the roster. Would’ve liked to have seen precious play some minutes just to give other players a rest. Josh hart 53 minutes played. That’s a way to burn out your current roster. Mistakes get made, passing, turnovers, errors in judgment. The free throw shooting was inexcusable. It seemed like the Knicks also went away from what worked well in game 4. Maxey had a terrific game a sixer player that I respect with character and talent.
The Knicks NEED to make their free-throws. That's why they lost this game. They have been BAD from the free-throw line in this series. The Knicks are still the better team and will win this series if they go back to playing like a TEAM.
Also, Brunson needs to go back to trusting his teammates and not play heroball. You don't need to play heroball when you have a TEAM. Philly 2 games they won is because Embid and Maxey have to score almost 50 to win. That may win a few games but that's not going to win you a series UNLESS the other team decides to play the same way. The Knicks NEED to go back to playing like a team, make their free-throws and they should close out in game 6.
Also, interesting how both the Knicks and the Pacers lost their close out games and now the series is extended. Crappy loss but the Knicks fans have to move on for game 6. This series EXPOSES so many Knicks fans, I love it.

Poor coaching @the end and a lack of execution. I appreciate the effort that our guys play with all year. Battling thru injuries and never making excuses. Playing 40 minutes a night takes a toll on decision making at the end. I can accept some missed free throws, but I can’t tolerate bad coaching. Why allow Maxey to get the ball….dribble to his spot and shoot?
We fell into the “hero trap”. It became Brunson VS Maxey and we wasted a great opportunity. We didn’t even take a timeout and get a shot at the end? I expect players to have mental lapses and freeze in a big spot…. But it’s unacceptable from our coaching
Knicks don’t finish them off, now they’re in trouble, gave Philly another chance to stick it to us

As long as the knicks can close this out it'll be alright… good on the sixers for capitalizing on the mistakes we made but let's chillll…. we did this exact thing to them and we WILL bounce back….. let's fill this damn arena again dont be turning on our heroes when we still got 2 opportunities… u even see Milwaukee continue the series with a win… we can't over react… thats the opposite reaction we need but I slept on me reaction too 😅
