Or maybe LeBron is a savy business man and saw Reddick crushing the podcast game….

  2. Eric_T_Meraki

If they can call a timeout properly, that’s already a huge step up from Ham.

  3. McCants is incredibly envious of LeBron, always has some shit to say like he even knows what playoff basketball is

  4. DrunkPirateHunter

I legit don’t know if I’ve ever heard a decent take come out of that podcast

  5. 13WillieBeaman

lol.. McCannot is probably the dumbest one on that Gil podcast. Always saying stupid shit. Remember when he was wearing custom Chinese Jordan’s and said they were his model? He claimed they were his.

Rashad McCants has some of the dumbest nba takes I’ve ever heard. He’s also racist (listen to how he talks about Austin Reaves and other white players).

  7. BossButterBoobs

McCant’s is legitimately a dumb person. He’s also a hater who can’t reconcile with the fact that his personality and lack of accountability led to his short NBA career. And it annoys me how he uses Kobe as a prop. It really seems like he jumped on the Kobe bandwagon after his death and now just uses him to hate on LeBron lol

I’d give Redick a chance over any available coach right now.

Hey if he can call a timeout properly and make solid schemes, we’re a top 4 seed. Easy

Hypothetically if this happen + lakers draft bronny, what will be your reaction?

Say what you will about the “theory” but JJ Redick has phenomenal basketball IQ and would likely make a great head coach.

One of the all-time great shooters and role players would likely be someone who understands how to get the most out of his players and run an efficient team

I think LeBron just doesn’t want bs narratives and story lines to drive his interviews from big names and networks that are following an agenda for views. He Probably just wants something raw and real which is extremely rare in any type of media today.

  13. I would not want a guy who left off AD on his all-defense team to coach this team lol

  14. AntSmith777

I don’t want a rookie HC but at least with JJ we wouldn’t have to worry about spacing and he would prioritize shooting, something I’ve wanted the Lakers to do since Bron got here.

  15. You know…just saying. If this conspiracy were to be true, I wouldn’t be opposed to it.

  16. fostyinthebuilding

McCants lasted 4 seasons in the NBA riding the bench blaming everyone but himself for his problems

Anybody who takes his opinions for anything other than petty jealous hot takes is exactly what he wants

  17. JJ doesn’t realize the podcast is actually an interview/vetting process by LeBron.

Unfortunately, he lost consideration when he showed LeBron the crossover clip.

McCants is one of the biggest clowns. I can’t believe Gil has him on his show, worst yet is that he let’s him wear a crown. ‘Roid McCants better lay off the juice as his brain is swelling almost as bad as his ego is

  19. Or maybe LeBron wanted to get involved in player podcasting since it’s huge and wanted to make something that digs into the nitty gritty of basketball rather than just “This team wanted it more”
