That would be a huge setback but the Jazz have been famous for not getting it right since Malone and Stockton have left.
If the Jazz were smart they build around Lauri
Danny ainge literally got all r assets back and more after horrible management from the previous gm who picked Dante exum, and a bunch of nobody's and gave Robert a 200 million dollar contract. He's rebuilding the team and somehow has piled up 18 picks for the next 4 years drafts. We have 3 picks next year in the draft cause of him and he's gonna trade Clarkson who had a ridiculous contract as well. He's done an amazing job. Celtics got rid of ange because everyone thought he was tanking the team when he signed jaylen brown and Tatum. The year after they fired him they made it too the conference finals and the following year the finals. All because of him. Yall just expect playoffs right away when he's literally rebuilding the team after the gm screwed us over. Only true fans know how valuable Danny ainge is. He's built two dynasty teams before the jazz. And he's currently building another. The reason he had the team tank this year is so we could get a better pick for this year's draft by being the 11th seed or under. We have 3 picks for this coming draft. Two first rounds and an early second. We are gonna be good next year either way.
Why not draft Brony and bring LeBron to Utah
Jazz would want all that and more. They hear 👂 that they have up to 5 pick swaps. Would be nice to get 3 picks. Can’t guarantee pelicans defer their pick. I would but we never know until it’s done ✅
Not so sure I would trade for just picks. The player package coming back matters just as much. This is where jazz best to hold laurie and get him extended. Trade him when he has a higher contract to force teams to match it.
Also think the jazz would have other suitors. Laurie is way good 👍
I have been protesting the Jazz since the trade deadline. Didn’t watch a single game after that debacle. Hard to watch all these good players get traded away for scraps. I’m switching to the new hockey team we have coming here.
If there isn't a deal to bring in someone that moves the needle than moving LM is a good idea if building a bright future is the goal. Moving him to the Lakers would be the most painful spot possible but the haul you described would be worth it, that and the chance to land high in the lottery next year.
Just helping no MJ makes me sick… maybe Ainge should trade the good players in the new Hockey team also… priorities man…
Historically Lakers dont spend a haul on nobody. Trading Lauri to LA will never happen. 3 or 4 picks? That could happen maybe with Philly, Orlando, OKC who are desperate to make next push and get stronger. But Lakers? I doubt it.
I hope not! We trade away our stars, develop other stars and trade them away as well? For late 20’s picks?? I’m sick of all the picks we have plenty. Unless it’s a top 3 pick I say we keep Lauri and build around him the best we can! Please do not trade Lauri! And why because LeBron likes him? Give me a break
I mean fine I guess but if you trade Lauri the team isnt watchable for 3 to 5 years. Youll be looking back at a full on decade since Don and Rudy. Rest assured I got better things to do than watch shitty AAU basketball with extra steps. Also Will Hardy cant and doesnt coach any defense. Give him a pile of kids and all you'll get is the Houston Rockets of 2 years ago just straight trash.
Jazz should not trade young star for draft picks
Lebron likes Lauri. So maybe there’s potential in a trade with the lakers. Lol. This is nonsense. Lakers have nothing to offer for him.
I think no matter what, the jazz extend/resign lauri. Bad contracts usually are roleplayers and lauri is an all-star. Plus when we resigned Rudy I thought that was an untradable contract and look what we got for him
