Not knowing a damn thing about hockey, does this mean that the guy below Jamal Murray is the “Jamal Murray of the Avalanche”? Or is it not really supposed to be that direct? Why is the guy under MPJ all close up? Is he just huge?

I think they are all paired up well, nice job OP. Each pair shares respective characteristics

Great comparison OP! Here’s my interpretation for non-hockey fans.

Jamal <-> Cale Makar = superstars that can elevate to another plane of existence, seemingly at will.

MVP Jokic <-> MVP Nathan MacKinnon = THE guys that lead the team and create the offense.

KCP <-> Devon Toews = defensive maestro.

MPJ <-> Mikko Rantanen = mercurial scoring threat.

AG <-> Valeri Nichushkin = hardworking utility man.

Both units are perfectly constructed to complement each other, emphasize strengths, and mitigate weaknesses. It’s team building at its finest.

    The crossover i’m here for.

I always though aaron gordon and nichuskin played a similar role. Being the net front guy and a constant two way threat.

Low key though, who on the nuggets is most comparable to lehkonen??

He’s the real glue of the team, does everything at a super high level despite not being an elite talent. Does all the work everyone else doesnt do on both sides of the game, and is on the top of every star players wishlist. The ultimate support player.

Oh and he comes to play in the playoffs

Why are you comparing the nuggets to a bunch of Mormons?

In terms of huge, clutch scoring, Lehkonen is Jamal.
