  1. I have to admit I was very frustrated with Nesmith being so close to Middleton on that 3. Yet instead of continuing to get in front of him with both arm's straight up. Forcing Middleton to shoot over two fully extended arm's. Nesmith instead sees Middleton slow down to gather, stops moving to get in front of him. Slightly brings one arm halfway up and immediately looks towards the basket to see if he made it.. Nembhard right behind Nesmith and no arm's up.. But Nesmith had the ability to see him gather, close in on his space and put arm's straight up creating a wall. He'd missed and we'd won. As long as he stays vertical without moving his body into the player. New rules don't cater to player's anymore that throw themselves into an arm of a defender to purposely draw contact. So there should have been nothing to worry about, plus Middleton was fading away falling back as he let it go.. Our defenders have to commit and never stop on a play. Get in front and don't ball watch in that situation. Take his space away and make his shot as impossible as you can.. Suffocate them. Halfazz attempt almost cost us that game. Rookie mistake. I love that they aren't letting these offensive flop artists get their "foul" calls. Like when baby Dame was crying when he shot a midrange jumper and no one was close enough to him. Yet instead of his first instinct being to rise up and shoot a perfect unblockable shot. He kicked his body out in an unnatural way to try and get contact. It was so obvious and even after I still didn't even see the flop contact. He was crying going down the court. I laughed my azz off.. I said this isn't 2018/19.. Those mid late 2000's flop calls will not work in your favor. It will result in a miss and a turnover. Leaving you looking like a dang fool. As you should.. 👏 good for the league getting rid of the flop and hooking guys on the way to the rim.

  2. I still don't understand why Jarace Walker couldn't have been getting at least 20 and at time's 20+ since after All-Star to get him integrated into that SF role we've needed all along. Especially after losing Bruce Brown. Nesmith shouldn't be the only guy we have to depend on as a SF, when he plays it well. Because his effort and tenacity.. But he's better suited as a tough, physically gifted 3pt SG/SF that can get you buckets off screen's and open looks from 3. With some slashing abilities.

  3. that one situation where we got 6 offensive rebounds and no points pissed me off so bad, i’m just glad we won so we can forget about it

  4. Had they played Jarace Walker the later half of the season with the team. He'd easily been the best defender option to bother and possibly could have completely shut down Middleton. Because he's 6'8, 235 with a 7'2 Wingspan. With a high Defensive I.Q.. Who's keen on reading Defenses, and has a serious knack for knowing where his man is at all time's. While still being able to read the other team's ball handler and will even bait them at time's making them believe say Middleton is open with space. Like Jarace has dropped too low. Yet as soon as that ball is swung towards Middleton. Jarace is already moving in to pick it off, block it in his face. Or force a missed catch and a turnover. I wish they'd given him the chance and time he deserved with the team in the later half of the season.. I mean bro.. We don't have a SF AT ALL!!! He shown us he could play SF, wheb previously we thought he couldn't do it.. Then having already been a pretty good passer that can make quick reads is one of the best assets your SF can have. Then he was also increasing his 3pt shot all the time. Even from the top of the arc and doing better on drives to the rim. He was a Top 5 pick.. Yet we don't play him.. But play Sheppard, who is great and deserving. But so is Walker and that frustrates the hell outta me.. Not letting our young guy's play in these moments early, only hurt their development and our ability to truly contend for a real chance at a Championship later.. I'd love for our Pacers to add a Herb Jones, hell I wanted Kelly Oubre Jr. and Derrick Jones Jr. last off-season in FA.. Had we gotten both of them. Then could have convinced Jonas Valanciunas to sign and help us with a different style and serious rebounding ability, with low post ability down low. Still had added an athletic 3rd string C too. Way we could have had 3 different C's and the best off all worlds when it comes to certain matchups. I like the idea of PG13 returning for a couple year's at least, or a DeMar DeRozan. He's such a clutch player. Then added a guy that's cheaper. Yet can do it all type. 3, D and plays in transition. Cuts to the basket, high basketball I.Q awareness. Caleb Martin would be a great pickup. I want to and we better retain Obi Toppin.. Dude is getting better Defensively and even slight improvements to his D, which I honestly think he will elevate his D beyond just decent. Because he's young. Never had gotten consistent playing time and you can already see what consistent time did for his overall game already. He's become one of the most efficient player's in the league in transition probably the best.. and a guaranteed quick release bucket at 3. Hurry's to his spots for an open made 3, or massive dunk which demoralizes the other team.. Would love to have Miles Bridges and Obi together, but I know that won't happen unless they signed Miles Bridges as our SF, which may not be the worst option.. because we have plenty of guy's that can switch into multiple positions.. but it won't happen. I have a 5 page list of player's I'd love for us to target come FA. So I'll have to make a video on that. So everyone can get an idea of what could be some real possibilities on ways to create our best roster going into next season. Most likely we will be looking at not so much Stars since we have to pay Pascal. Yet there are many great solid role player's who we could utilize that will help us in everything we need to become a very dangerous team with the cash and positions we will have available.. Can't wait!.. I also hope the Pacers will realize that they should try and secure a higher pick in this year's draft to pick up a SF. Seeing as we haven't gotten a single one in the past two drafts.. Besides maybe Walker possibly working in that position. But because even if we get some solid FA, good role player. Our team as a hole is very young and we should look to get another young prototype style SF. One that will last and be at his best once we are truly ready to contend. I don't think we have a way to move up far without giving up too much.. But we don't need to do that. Even though there are a few SF's that are projected towards the top 10 or so. Who I know at least a couple of them to be good SF's. But there's been a guy I've wanted since last off-seasons Draft.. But he dropped out to stay in College another year.. I thought for sure we'd picked him.. but we never pick most of the guy's I would have personally picked.. That guy is Bobi Klintman. The kid is phenomenal in every aspect for a 6'9 SF/PF combo, with Point Forward skills, point guard like handles and quick first step. Awareness and passing of a PG, which reminds me a lot of Haliburton if Hali was a big Forward. While he's also very crafty, quick, has handle that allows him to penatrate Defenses even with his handles alone at time's. Getting to the rim not always looking to finish, yet will dump it off, or hook a pass around a defenders body to his teammates for an easy flush. Or a kickout to a corner 3, or trailing guy if there is one and he needs to.. But at his size he can easily go up and dunk it.. His 3pt shot is also beautiful. He can hit it off a live dribble, or step into a 3 when coming down the floor. He has excellent timing and knowing where to put his feet placement as he's receiving a pass as he's catching the ball to be able to so gracefully walk into a perfect 3pt shot everytime. He hits them in various ways.. He also even though he's a bigger forward has a form on his 3pt shot that when he's set before he shoots he bends at the knee a little similar to the way Reggie Millers shot base was. Which is a good guy to look like when you're shooting 3's and that alone could be why he has so much success in making them look so easy. He's not had a very high 3pt % this year.. I can't speak a lot as to why, because I honestly haven't watched any of their game's this year.. But it could be for a number of reasons.. His team isn't that great.. Maybe he's taking more than he should, or one's that at time's maybe he should have passed on.. either way, I've seen enough from him. That I believe within our system and team. He'd become a phenomenal player for us at SF/PF, possibly SG. He has that kind of versatility in the way he plays. I love his ability to pass and move the ball as well. To see him being able to do that with Haliburton who's thee best passing point guard in the league. If we had Hali and a SF that can also make similar passes like that. While hitting 3s, getting out in transition. While he also has an ability to pick off passes to create transition opportunities. Then gets up to block players without fouling too. He's still very young, he just turnt 21 this March.. Yet already possess an incredible amount of talent. That I believe because of where he plays. Could be why he's only projected around 27.. I said we should have taken GG Jackson last Draft with our late pick. Why not..? Was a couple other's that I liked we didn't get last year that turned out to be solid player's. I was basically the only person who said Jalen Williams in the draft before last should have went at the very least anywhere from 7 to 12 at the latest.. I said my Pacers are crazy dumb if they don't try to move up to get Jalen.. It was obvious he was great.. I also really like Christian Braun and a couple other's for us as a later pick had we moved up a spot. I really hope this team fills the necessary holes and looks to add talent in all places in which we need it most.. while also realizing we need talents of variety. To help us compete at the highest level and always have player's who in certain matchups may be better and should get more of the minutes on certain nights.. we will see what happens…

  5. That's Hali's good ol' weapon – shot a lot of it at Sac town when he got started. When he starts shooting better, watch out!

  6. Nesmith was like 1/8 from deep but the 1 he hit was so important. Everyone showed up when it mattered most. Congrats on the win, it was a good one to get and a great one to watch. Go get another one Sunday!

  7. Let them come back just to put that dagger of a tear drop right in their eyes. The Bucks bench was in disbelief. They looked like they were afraid to come back to the arena for the next game… 😅🤣

  8. wish I could have watched this game with Quinn and Chris on the call but I have to pirate the games lmaooo thanks Bally Sports😂
