Stop posting this guy. He doesn’t know nba scheme. He had bad content then started yelling his bad points and got popular.

I would think you’d ask them before they became coach – probably during the interview process.

Nah it should be “Do you know how to call a timeout?”

Any coach who decides to leave open 3 point shooters in 2024 as part of a scheme, should never be hired ever

Next Lakers Coaching candidate: “What is drop coverage?”

Can’t wait to see the Lakers getting a new head coach and performing worse than Ham. This sub is ridiculous.

I am a big fan of Coach Kenny Atkinson! Would love to see Lakers get that guy.

Man who ever is next needs to refuse ti sign until we get atleast 3 real 3-d players who can and want to guard regardless of our defensive scheme. We literally lost because our forward couldn’t read a situation and try to atleast put his hands up…we need defensive IQ again.

Next time I see us running drop coverage, it would be too soon

Nothing will be as atrocious and stupid as the celtics letting steph walk into wide open 3s in the mf finals. They were more worried about a damn looney lob than a steph 3 from the top of the key💀 fuck ham tho

Agree 100%. But tbf, it’s difficult to do without guards who can stop penetration or switch and keep people off the glass. AD would have to likely either pop out and hedge or switch to the perimeter. That’s fine if you have someone like Aaron Gordon at the 4 or bigger guards who can body. But if you tried that with Rui and our current guards, you’d be giving up offensive rebounds and layups for days.

Funny thing is this scheme would have actually worked if he adjusted it a bit and made MPJ the exception. Chase MPJ off the 3 point line and suddenly the Nuggets lose their only player who was a consistent 3 point threat this series.

Whoever the next Laker coach is, the first question should be, “Is there a history of intellectual disability in your family?”
