My favorite play from last night. Remember, that quote about Wemby can apply 100% to Lively, too: this season is the WORST he’s going to be, which is crazy to imagine for the future.

That yell! (And the preceding pass, then signal for the ‘oop was pretty slick too)

He is pretty much untradable aside from Luka. Pretty sure so many team gonna be wanting him

Man, this probably going to be his toughest year of his life ever as well. Like.. I dunno man, mentally tough.

Love Luka’s reaction too.

remember that tweet by iztok franko (and of course his numbers thing) that rookie centers don’t really make an impact in the playoffs except Bam Adebayo, Myles Turner, and just a few others. we were all wrong

Huge difference from the beginning of the season to now in terms of how comfortable and confident he looks with the ball away from the rim. His development trajectory is turning out to be kinda wild. Whether it happens now or after he develops more, Mavs are 100% winning a chip with this man as our starting C.

There have been a few plays where he’s unsure what to do and in the playoffs he needs to make this decisions faster. He also doesn’t like to dribble the ball once he has possession. He’ll get better.

Idk if I’ve posted this here before or not but ever since game 1, I decided Wemby and Lively are this generations Shaq and Mourning. Shaq was always the better overall player, but those two had some epic battles back in the Orlando vs Miami days, all thanks to the stout defense of Alonzo. Shaq was a beast but Alonzo always held his own. If Lively has a Mourning type career then we are truly truly blessed rn as Mavs fans.

People keep saying we need a third scorer. I say we drafted him last year.

I love Dlives energy. His scream silenced the crowd.
